I think some PHX props are not only useful, but [i]can[/i] look good as well. Some guy posted an APC, which used those circular glass PHX props. They went very well as a cabin for it. The rest of the APC was more or less vanilla I think. So as long as you use it in the right quantity for a contraption, it can still look good.

Well look at the MANTA BassVirus and I built (if it's still here).. the whole roof is PHX sadly.. only because we needed a flat prop. So yeah it can be useful sometimes, just i don't like some the pre-made shapes. Reminds me too much of Lego.

It was pretty fairly bad ass. I think I've seen an engine powered Submarine too. When he does put it in a vehicle orsomething it's only to demonstrate that it does actually move shit. To me, even the engine's on their own are interesting to see, because I'm interested with the mechanics of it.

Maybe "Some Guidelines for Contraptions" would have been a better title if that's what you were aiming for.
