if only we could use SBEP parts, i would just model a tank instead of build it XD
SBEP
You best be joking
i didnt steal anything you titty mongler. i based it off a doodle i drew in school mutha fucka
lol yea I knew that you didn't steal it. When i first saw it it looked like what andre's idea was lol. it looks cute :3
You best be joking
ah, found i struk the nerve of a so called elitist builder. good to know, only make's me happier to model for SBEP. now, where should i put those battleship guns...:ninja:

People who need it to make a TANK(GROUND, EARTH) should not be making a TANK(GROUND, EARTH). And he's not an elitst. SBEP just sucks
if only we could use SBEP parts, i would just model a tank instead of build it XD
congratulations. with that one sentence, you will probably manage to piss off most of the builders here. SBEP is a good concept, just really boring to actually use. And it takes almost no effort. Thats why no one likes it.
That's the problem with most of you guys here, SBEP takes effort, but the only thing you see are those three prop ships.
That's the problem with most of you guys here, SBEP takes effort, but the only thing you see are those three prop ships.
here come's the cavalry
That's the problem with most of you guys here, SBEP takes effort, but the only thing you see are those three prop ships.
SBEP does not take effort. They are massive parts that you can easily align. Now if you want to build a space ship, their awesome and amazing in every way. But if you want to build a tnak.....try hl2 props or even phx just don't make it look blocky.

The thing is, they don't look good anyway. SBEP models are blocky as fuck and leave no room for giving them good detail. Once you've seen one SBEP section, you've pretty much seen them all. When you build something with Vanilla, or even Phx models, they're small enough so that you can position them and define a shape, but SBEP sections are so large that you can do nothing with them other than make a bigger maze, as you said, of corridoors.

You can't blend the pieces and make their own cool shape. You just stick them on the ends of each other
SUP new pics ma homos i like it :D not done though
It looks hollow. Will it have an interior?
It looks hollow. Will it have an interior?
not done. just put a mouse aimed turret on it today :D ofcourse there will be an interior :D

It's just like with the PHX vs. Vanilla war. Anyway, I won't hate SBEP, since you probably can make a tnake using such parts, but I doubt it would look tank-alike. Just look at those modern tanks. Very blocky. Very square. And yes, it might just be beyond my knowledge of the SBEP prop arsenal, but I doubt it'll look anything like a tank - rather, a GMOD tank. A fugly tank just having the same animation possibilities as a tank (threads, body, turret, gun). So in my opinion, use PHX. And don't ignore this tip. Fucking use it. SBEP seems clumsy as it is with anything that's complex. Slyfo I recall made a large number of various gun and weapon models for the pack. And the Turret SEnts(Vierling AA Gun, Sniper Turret and whatnot) have obvious applications if you are lazy and don't want to build a full-on wire turret. And yes, PHX has very good applications in tank building. Try working out a reliable suspension system using doors, boxcars and filing cabinets.
Yeah Madman(ig)g. That's one big benefit with it. The premade cannons that are easy to wire up etc. But they are still fugly in my opinion. Nothing like a tnaks arsenal of cannons and coaxial guns.
o sup sat i miss you <333
Soup lattes paly woop <3
