Uhmm, anyone know how to hex stuff? Like, taking ragdolls and models from one game (Skyrim, Singularity, Might & Magic: Dark Messiah, etc.) and [U][I]properly[/I][/U] preparing them for use in GMod? There was a tutorial on Facepunch [I]ages[/I] ago, but I can't find it, and all of the stuff around the web is either "buy our stuff to help u out!!!1!" or replacing pre-existing models with stuff that's already on GMod!!! Fuck, this is going to be harder than I thought...

I facepalmed so hard after reading this. The "hexing tutorial" in question is essentially the long way of reskinning a model, and making sure that the reskin doesn't mess with the original. I am am highly annoyed at this dead end, but I appreciate the help.
I'm trying to find a tutorial (that, now that I think about it, I found by accident on an older version of Facepunch) that shows how to hex stuff from [I]non source games[/I], like Killing Floor, or Skyrim. You know, stuff that I mentioned in my first "I wanna hex stuff, plz halp" post. Games that require work and knowledge to get stuff from them.
If you can find [I]that[/I] tutorial, or feel like writing an intelligent, step-by-step tutorial (or if you can convince one of the really [U][B][I]badass[/I][/B][/U] hexers to write one), let me know.

That's not hexing. That's porting and it requires a bit of modeling knowledge and patience to do right.
