So apparently my version of Photoshop doesn't like saving 4096x2048 VTF files... not enough RAM (4gb) have to do it the old fashion way! [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11742779/Perskin%20WIPs/Clothes_Diff_HD.jpg[/t] made it from some scans of a coat I actually own, and then a lot of clone stamping and playing with the original normal map to add shading. feel free to use, just be warned, it doesn't like being opened in photoshop 7 for some reason... (after being saved to VTF)

I mainly wanted the seams there. I am going to combine it with a detail of the same pattern (though I wish there was a $detailbump param, that would be amazing). And where is this hidden flag? It was entirely unintentional :v: and most likely a part of the texture to begin with. anyway, on to reskin the shoes anyone got any good ones I could use?

You could easily have something looking just as good in 2048x1024, or less if you use detail textures. Besides, most of it blurred out anyway, which causes the weird and avoidable "pixel clarity" issue. Nobody wants to have a 30MB texture for somebody's coat sitting on their HDD.
