God, I wish it was that easy. My buddy Dark Fire tried it. He said you have to have proof that you're a college student. Student ID, or something like that. He dropped out three months ago (Trident Tech) and bought the full 3DSMax.

What I want to do, to put it bluntly, is to not only port models from games like Street Fighter 4, Alpha Protocol, Deus Ex, and Skyrim, but to also give them custom skeletons, face posing, finger posing, bodygroups, alternate skins, etc.
And, after all that is done, all you would have to look for in you GMod folder is "MrStevenWolfe", and all of my hard work would be there, patiently awaiting use.

Last time I messed with an "open source" program, it left a virus so tough I had to format my hard drive to kill it, and even then my PC was acting goofy until I got Windows 7.
