Awesome ship. Love the look. Also, I'm getting tired that a lot of people here still have not done the research into SBEP. For fuck's sake, it's SBEP.
Why do everybody care. It's no big deal. SBMP was the original name.
SpaceBuild Model Pack SpaceBuild Enhancement Project Doesn't really matter either way, it's a model pack that enhances SpaceBuild.
About that, I saw a youtube video of some of the new features with the "Enhancement Project" Like a built in ship designer, docking pieces that actually couple together, and parts that automatically line up to eachother, even an automated Lift creation dealy.. You sure the other one isn't Just a model pack? O.o

Take an A and a B of one type and wire dock to something. The new version just has doors in it. EDIT: And a massive number of new models.

It's still mostly a model pack.
looks like a star destoyer but thinner and without the bridge nice work by the way.
Says the guy who made one. Really good job on that by the way.
Thanks. Have any other big ships in progress? I'd like to see more of these.
Thanks. Have any other big ships in progress? I'd like to see more of these.
That tank really wore me out, I do have a couple of ships I want to try and make but I am looking more towards things like my aerocar.
Those ships made me both drool and then promptly get off my lazy rear and apply to this forum. I'm newer to Gmod, and nothing I can make ever looks one tenth as amazing as this. If you had any pointers I would be eternally grateful Again, splendid work.

Stacker and Easy Precision are my sculpting tools I never leave home without, explore those two tools as much as you can. Looks: I strongly advise downloading Smart Snap and when building a ship or anything for that matter try making everything symmetrical, that symmetry gives it the nice crisp and clean look. Materializing: This part is really up to you, I generally like to break up the paint here and there and give it a clean yet technical look. I mainly stick to the plain materials such as shiny debug, or phx metal, mainly for the fact that I use a lot of PHX and when materializing PHX the material tends to tile, however if you use vanilla props (default props) it will not tile and the material will expand around the entire prop. Hope that helps.
Yes it does. I always use both Easy Precision and Smartsnap, but I havn't yet touched Stacker. Do you use Things like smallbridge interiors and put plating on top of that or do you make the entire ship out of PHX materials? Thanks again for the advice.

Start simple with small bridge, then add as much PHX as you can to it to achieve the look you're going for.

Thanks so much for your help Iosekki.
I am impressed with how well you fit the interior inside that ship and made it look so clean, without chunks sticking through. Now make it go WOOSH!!!
Wait so ... What the hell model packs are these? Phx and SBEP? Which props on the exterior are Phx ? It all blends together so well it's hard to tell... Looks really well done The Normandy from Mass Effect meets District 9
One more question Iosekki, have you tried the Super Parent Multi stool? I stumbled upon it the other day, and it seems to be the only way my noob self can make a ship that won't break.

It looks very square.
I don't visit this forum much, but really fucking good job
Meh, needs work. Missing a lot of stuff. Also that is the SR1, not the SR2.
It also looks awful, completely wrong proportions Dx
