For some reason, this really reminds me of Wolfenstein 3D.
You know, the game that predates Doom.
Smoke looks good, but solid...very solid, and there would be a small amount coming from the cartridge. Muzzle flash is a bit iffy too. Also, Attack of the Killer Plant People III: Plants Vs. Nazis.

Four things:
1. Muzzleflash is too up.
2. Too much blood and it's not looking good either.
3. Way too much smoke.
