20 August 2008 I decided to try out a SHEF tutorial. I rather like it. 22 August 2008 I decided to do a less claustrophobic version of two birds. Two Birds (Edit)
^ ^ Nice editing.
I like the shell one :)
Nice lot of pictures. You got any tips or tutorial for muzzle flashes?
Nice lot of pictures. You got any tips or tutorial for muzzle flashes?
Ummm. There is one I use, but then I do editing on it. I would just start with this: http://www.quantumpetshop.com/tutorials/guns.asp Then blur, smudge, and use some dodge and burn (Dodge the tip, burn the rest) Then you should add some lighting (use a 200-250 Pixel Brush, Set it to soft light (Very occasionally Hard Light, always with an opacity of less than 14%) This technique normally requires a bit of blurring and smudging around the flash, which actually makes it look more realistic. Try to do as much as you can with the flash in a separate level. After that, just use normal photo effects, like dynamic contrast or SHEF.
Nice man. I like it :D
don't use shef - it was overused back in 2006 or 7 or whatever so people hate it and it also tends to clip the darker details and make the picture more blurry overall Edit: for muzzle flashes I like to use a fairly sharp white brush on a new layer and then add outer glow to it on blending options
I never use shef by itself, so everyone can go to hell if they don't like it. (Or a retirement home, basically the same thing). Anyways 27 August 2008 (Done By Ham Wallet, I edited) Two Combine Soldiers Search a Small Villiage

I've been away for a while, but I figured I might as well get warmed up. Here's a quick edit: 28/02/2010 Caucasus Checkpoint Rate and Reply, I guess.

Why don't you post your pictures in a new thread? Bubz : you freakin' afro ninja
Why don't you post your pictures in a new thread?
There are over a thousand pages of screen shot threads. I'm doing the best I can to keep the number from going any higher, which means consolidating. Plus, it's easy to follow my work if you just subscribe to a single thread.
