D-Day - Garry's Mod - Facepunch Forum

The burning and dodging was done [B]incredibly[/B] sloppily (probably some of the worst I've seen in awhile, good job.) The text effects were either unnecessary or poorly done. If your text is constantly bleeding into the border, why bother adding one in the first place? It's as if you were trying to be incredibly cinematic and failed horribly. In the first page's third, sixth, and seventh frames the water splash's hue doesn't match the in game water [B]at all[/B]. They don't even blend with the water in the frames where you can see the base of the splash. You also managed to reveal the ugly seam between the skybox and water texture on several occasions, as well as the ugly background in the eighth frame; congratulations. The first page's second frame implies you were too lazy to actually show what was happening. Tracers don't go in a completely, evenly straight line. They especially don't split up in to separate lines. Apparently, the machine gun is firing bullets and is getting no recoil at all, because the bullets are tailing right behind the other in perfect unison. On the second page, the machine gunner's smoke is way too thick and sharp compared with the screenshot it corresponds to. His bipod isn't even deployed on the wall, and there's some random squiggle distortion on the sniper scope to the right. Fourth frame, nice try at attempting to be funny; too bad you failed miserably. The blood's also pretty terrible. Oh, and the battle chatter/dialogue is also shitty.

They were the tanks that I was thinking off. After reading a bit of the article I remembered that it wasn't that they didn't use them, it was that they launched them further out than they should have or something of that sort. So it wasn't that they never took tanks, it was that the tanks never made it.

Does it really fucking matter how it went down? Since when did comics have to be 100% acurate to history to be enjoyable. Nice comic, anime face was unnesesery but i lol'd anyway.

Oh, and since when is saying somethings 'shitty' an effective way of describing something? It just makes you sound like a hooligan with a pathetic vocabulary.

What's the difference between making a comic and a standalone picture? Illiterate text that only leaves plot-holes and no character behind a story?
