Tried to remake a picture i seen. This is the picture i tried to re-make, Btw it was just a quick job that i wanted to do for fun. Not a serious pose!
We really did need this. This saves lotsa space. For all the poses beyond and above: Edit and work on that posin'.
If you edited it, it would be worth a thread.
Well I suck at editing so yeah Oh boy everyone's rating EVERYONE dumb Or is that an automatic box giver
Ugh...hated this one
Toying around with emitters more, nothing special Low res car decaaaaal
@ the strange TF2 Pic I dont get it. Help plz
I can't say I blame you that much, but it'll make a bit more sence if you've heard of and probably have seen the battles between the Angry Video Game Nerd and the Nostalgia Critic. Both of them are well known for their reviews. AVGN reviews video games, the NC reviews movies. I won't go into too much detail or I'll sound like I'm making a speech.
*pics of TF2 characters screaming* mmf
I lol'd cuz I was listening to the chorus of The Offspring's Self esteem :D also, content: I liked this angle better than the one I ended up posting on the thread, but the already low-poly .357 model looks completely unexcusably hideous from this angle. didn't want to look like a perv... although posting it here anyways defeats that purpose... silly me. Also, gm_construct
ME Testing some Muzzleflashes I JUST LEANERD HOW TO DO (Re: August-15-09) Also, Chesty's Picture! (I also Posted this one in the "Edit My" Screenshots thread) Well, I tried anyways =/ I think I'd be better off doing muzzleflashes for TF2 Poses and such
ME Testing some Muzzleflashes I JUST LEANERD HOW TO DO (Re: August-15-09) *seriously hilarious half fast zombie shooting a gun* Also, Chesty's Picture! *guy shooting a gun with a silly comic-y muzzleflash* (I also Posted this one in the "Edit My" Screenshots thread) Well, I tried anyways =/ I think I'd be better off doing muzzleflashes for TF2 Poses and such
I would agree. For now, I'd recommend you used the simpler more straightforward approach: spawn an emitter with a very small delay, align it with the gun's barrel and color it transparent. then take a couple of screenshots and choose the one with the best muzzleflash. Would only be problematic if you wanted to control several muzzleflashes in a single picture or if you don't like the default muzzleflashes available for emitters. Also, if I wasn't as numbed by the intarwebz, that zombie shooting the all-too-huge gun would've cracked me up big time. Hilarious.

Well this thread is certainly useful.
My first gmod screenshot. lol im such a noob. Bummed out on how pixelized the picture is (sign/guy), but I dont know how to fix it. Any way to smooth it out and improve the quality of the screenshot (gimp, ingame, or computer settings)?
Up all your graphics settings, set jpeg quality to 100.
computer settings for one, that's what you should start at if they're really low then the single most drastic improvement, up your Gmod video settings. If you intend to actually play it too and not just pose, or if your computer's a bit slower, just take pics, you can turn them down later, but for screenshots, you should have them somewhere near full. Also I'm hearing that there is some setting, jpeg quality it's called, that makes the saving quality better, not sure if this is in the editing phase, or in-game or what, but that should cut down on the pixelating. Not on the jagged lines though Then to top off, if you have the means and skills to edit pictures, you can improve the quality and/or mask the flaws in Photoshop or something of the sort.
It's in the q menu settings.
