You are making me look like i am a noob.
maybe i am a noob and i should stop making videos.
:(
It tells us the truth. Thanks Blizzshit for zombing people, my friend is zombie, because of "World of Warshit"
Good job Lorka. BUT! Use better human models/textures and record it in 720p or 1080p
Any chance you can upload it to megaupload, rapidshare or something like that?
I really want to see it but I don't want to view it on some streaming site =/
What music did you use in the last scene where the woman is looking out the window?
And how did you make it bright with a powerful orange sun?

You are not a noob, don't stop making movies, and don't let people put you down, this is only surpassed in writing by lit fuse and it is not surpassed in filming anywhere (better than most movies in theaters, hell its better than some of the best movies I've seen style wise)
I must say, It's not my type of film, all dark and sad.
However, it was one of the best edited and performed movies I've seen done by a private person in the game community
Awesome! Absolutely awesome. I can't get over how well the typing was done.
Wow, Epic... Godlike... I  you
That blew my fucking mind! Crazy!
This was the best Machinima I have ever seen. It had a deep message that many people can relate to (something about Video-game/internet addiction, right?) If it was about that, which is what it came across as, it really touched me. I am actually (slightly) addicted to games. Partly because of the art, partly because of the community. But this, this is amazing. It shows how beautiful games can be, and this has actually inspired me (not to quit games, that won't ever happen) to get off my ass and make a machinima that uses faceposer, because I just can't stand using what I do.
Thank you, great sir, for sending me a message, and for giving me inspiration.
This is brilliant, in all degrees, and I hope to see more from you in the future.
EDIT:
Artistic'd
Can anybody re-upload this?
Wow i totally forgot about this. :raise:
I downloaded it when it was released.:D
Simply beautiful, this is just beautiful. Truly a work of art that no other could re-produce. Have you considered a career in computer animation or movie editing? I bet you could make MILLIONS on those career tracks!
Had an fantastic atmosphere and a real depth, this is truely one of the best gmod film i've seen. The way you made us want to keep watching, and it seemeed like we knew the characters well, was simply amamzing.
This blows all current machinimas ever made out of the water, Faceposer, editing, and story wise. Awesome job!
FINALLY! I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS (Streaming version) ALL DAY (Months?)
AND HOT DAMN, (:wooow:) Incredible...
It's a great piece of machinima, the guys that made it are trying to get the word out there about it so they get noticed.
If you've a Digg account you can help out by digging this article: http://digg.com/arts_culture/The_Monad_Ground_Breaking_Mature_Machinima
Thanks.
I'm...I'm a bit unsure of what to say now. In the obvious sense of the word, I'm amazingly impressed. Maybe I should take this from the top...
As some people know, I recently started creating tutorials for using Face Poser and posted them on Facepunch. That was because I love drama; I love emotions, and until now the entire machinima world has been devoid of it. As hi-res and pixel-pushing as our games have been, we've never even scratched the surface of art. But the tool has been there for about 3 years, and no one's truly used it. Sure, we saw Tom "Barney" Cruise demand the truth, and we heard the fabulous singing voice of the G-man. But that was still, as amazing as it was, toying around; simple experiments.
I wanted people to take machinima to what it could be; a real art form, something that I assure you no one has come close to. Many people may remember situations where they asked me "How to get Face Poser scenes into gmod"...to which I always gave my answer only after preaching to them how important it is to make their own level, and learn every trick of the trade. I wanted to show people this because silly Garry's Mod videos weren't what I wanted when I made those tutorials. What I wanted...
...was exactly what I have just watched.
This is exactly what I've been looking for. If I were ever to show someone how powerful tools like Face Poser are, this would be it. It's not only succeeded in getting the emotions right and adding appropriate gestures, but settling for no less than perfection in terms of writing and voice acting. Everything comes together just the way I would have wanted it, and I felt that even I could identify strongly with the main character.
Anyone who's known me on the forums for any length of time knows that as much praise as I give, I'll always criticize the video, and offer pointers for improvement. I've had heavy criticisms for every big Source movie that I've ever seen; Slapdash, Zompocalypse, and even the one that I helped with, War of the Servers. Honestly, for this video...I can't. You've excelled at everything I could think of, and this film is far better than I honestly think that I could ever do. Congratulations.
Now, if only I could overcome my sloth and aspire to make something as great as this...
Katana, that has to be the most motivational speech and flattering comment I have ever read..(cries)
DAaAaAaAaAymn NIGGA THAT WAS FUCKING AWSOME!!!!.... all though it does make us think, what are we doing with our lives?..... :(

@Topic:
A great masterpiece by a great movie maker. Even after 1 year i am still speechless :)!
I hope you are still ghosting around this forum so i would like to ask which programm did you use to create this unique animations like the vomiting in the alley followed buy leaning on the wall cleaning her face and so on?
Maybe you could refer to a good program plus tutorial, that would be nice :)!
with best wishes for your movie carreer,
Defkaunta
That was moving.

It was diffrent/orignal, had a message, was well written and was the best looking machinma ive ever seen.
This is what a machinma looks like when you spend time on it.
Great movie. Wish I was that far into Faceposer.
Freaking excellent.
Very, very good work.
EDIT: Haha! Just realised the epic bump. Still, its worth it.
