It's only really 2020-something in Crysis, so it's not much of a stretch that some uniforms aren't that modern. Plus, upon looking at the Crysis models, they only really have extra plates and jungle pattern uniforms (perhaps some sort of prototype design, phasing out the more modern uniform) Besides, we still see the futuristic-looking soldiers in the Crysis 2 trailer.
