I'm so glad you're here to state the obvious, I would never have realised that the M60 (and most machine guns for that matter) require a rail mount to be attached to the feed cover to mount things rather than an integral system like the M4!!! A++ post

Yeah because putting an optical sight on a weapon that is required to deliver accurate suppressing fire to distances beyond 500 yards is totally stupid and it's not something that should happen.
