They might have released a patch though.

How's playing on US servers when you're from the EU anyway? Laggy or does it generally play decent enough?

I play Space Libertarians- I mean, New Conglomerate on Miller [EU] with Nirrti. I have one free slot because SOE is dumb and makes their character list long enough to easily support the menu having up to 6 soldier saves, but only allows you to have 3 max. Either way, I'd prefer we play on a US East Coast server since that means I get the lowest latency but US West Coast or European is fine as well.

I'm gonna go with NC for this. However, we should really find a server where we can all get a good connection, lag free. Rather than focusing on one area. US East is quite a good place, I generally get no lag on that, plus I prefer the players on there, really. B

Well, if we do US East, it centralizes the location between west cost and europe. I mean, as an East coast person, I can still manage like a ~100 ping on a UK or German server. I can still manage a barely playable 200-300 ping on Australian servers and can usually pull between 30 and 75 for Midwest and West Coast US servers. I do like 20-50 on east coast servers. So I mean, people on west coast US shouldn't have an issue with an east coast server and the EU people can still manage a serviceable ping that won't give them too much trouble. It's really the closest thing to a middle point between US and EU players.

So I tried planetside. It runs, but not exactly well. It makes my CPU scream and slowly kill itself in pain of getting overused. Also not sure who's design I like more - NC or TR. Really not sure whom. Also probably medic.
