Hi, just popping in again.
If you are entering the contest, you may make multiple entries but only the most recent entry will be judged.
Also, I guess you're allowed to crop and/or resize the image since I forgot about the forum tables and I'm sure the mods don't want you breaking them. As long as you aren't changing anything about the image other than it's size, shape, or organizing it into the standard comic format, then go ahead.
Deadline is October 17th 2012

These dates are not set in stone, if there are not enough participants than the deadline will be extended.
The theme is Sci-Fi Space, so if you're on an alien planet, in an alien city, on earth being invaded by aliens, boarding an alien ship or abandoned space station, or being boarded by aliens, or something to do with space/planetary exploration and general SPACE SCIENCE in some way shape or form. That's a valid entry for the theme. Aliens may be interchangeable with humans depending on the context, especially if doing something Planetside-ish themed. Planetside-ish theming will earn you brownie points in the final judging since the reward is a Planetside 2 Beta key.
Remember, you must use at least 2 unique perskins in the pose or comic. Both perskins used cannot simply be variants of yours to look different. Example: Jacknife #2591 and Jacknife #6781 are not a valid combo. Infab and Infab's Assistant alone would not be valid either since they're part of the same perskin. Infab, Infab's Assistant, and Ex-President would be a valid combination since there are at least 2 unique perskins being used. Smugleaf and Katazuro is a valid combo since it's a minimum of 2 unique perskins.
Hope this clears up some things.

Thanks tons. I'm going to redo mine to make it a little more space like. A larger scale perhaps. I know you said we can edit an image's size, would we be allowed to stitch a few screenshots together?

I'll have to draw the line at stitching, sorry. I love stitch shots, but that's getting a little too far into the realm of editting things too much. Anyone can download gimp or paint.net in a minute and resize or crop an image, but not everyone can pull off stitches. Stitching is counted as a more advanced edit in my book; crop, resize, borders, and text are not advanced edits.
I have to keep things accessible to everyone and as stated previously, I don't want people to feel like they have no chance because other people can do all sorts of things with photo manipulation that they can't. It's why I restricted it to purely in-game effects and very very basic image editting. I know not being able to do a lot of the nicer looking effects is an annoying handicap, but I can't expect everyone to do a bang up job in potatochop so I have to dial all that stuff back to a more basic level.
tl;dr - No, stitching is not allowed. Yes, I am 'dumbing things down' so everyone has a chance at participating.
