Have you properly rigged every portion of your physics model to their corresponding bones? When you don't, Source will automatically rig every unrigged portion to the $rootbone, causing this to happen.

I mean once you rig up a chopped model it works, but it's not ideal, in part because it's heavy to process.

I like my skin. I just also like to have a few variants so I can fit into different themes.

I have variations of my skin, but I always end up using my classic black suit with purple stripes. Speaking of which, I've been making some much needed updates to it (Nothing huge. Just some aesthetic changes that always bothered me). Expect a release soon.
