I find the lighting in the certain clip makes or breaks how the color correction works.

D-12 I finished Chapter six yesterday, and I was almost done editing it when my computer started showing signs of artefacting, and BSoD. My CPU is melting. Literally. The problem is that I can't replace it easily, since my motherboard's socket only supports AMD CPUs which aren't being manufactured anymore. I'm going to try to get a new mobo and an Intel CPU as fucking fast as I'm able to. In the meanwhile, I had to downclock this one so much that I just can't work on Ghosts anymore.

The project looks great, I would really hate to see it die because of technical issues. I just hope you haven't had any data loss, that would be a real shame.

I am saddened to inform you that it's getting delayed until December 31st, 2009 or January 19th, 2010 (my birthday!). My new hardware performs really well, but due to a strange glitch with the amount of RAM, I am currently restricted to only two gigabytes (which really isn't comfortable for intensive video editing). Furthermore, I have a huge appointment coming in high school (and I decided to do one of its part as a... machinima. Yes, they strongly encourage originality) around January 10th, so... Don't worry; the project is still alive, I've still got the files and stuff. Max, you got alot of tricks up your sleeves, from your rendering method, to the way you film, and your style, I wouldn't be surprised if you were a day early and not 10 days late.

I'm in vacation, away from my beefy editing workstation until Sunday; however, you guys (and gals?) can definitely expect a release on the 30th/31st. I have almost filmed everything, Chapter 8 is halfway edited. I regret not having discovered the wonders of HLMV earlier; it opens a lot of possibilities and makes stuff much more flexible for one-man-teams (such as me).
