This was going to be a pose involving a tank convoy. Thanks to lacking the right models for this, it somehow became about three rebels on a supply run about to be ripped to shreds by lizardmen and their living god. Pre-emptive happy halloween! [sub]why does everything i start to pose turn out completely different[/sub]

The last half hour is a bit blurry. I think I gave someone some feedback? [SUB]Edited:[/SUB] Oh, fuck...

Quick pose and a quick edit to test a W.I.P model
That specular map and how strong it is looks a bit off, I suggest going to LT_C for advice, he's so good with things like that.
That specular map and how strong it is looks a bit off, I suggest going to LT_C for advice, he's so good with things like that.
Spec mapping is easy once you understand the underlying arcane magic and sacrifice enough to the gods of Specular and Phong. I'll be happy to discuss the sacrificial rights and spells if you're willing to forfeit your eternal soul.

Nyehehehehe... EDIT: This'd probably work better if I actually had the picture...
First screenshot for some time
Minor clipping with some fingerposing and the center guy's eyes are creeping me out, otherwise that looks really good.
Since update made me loose all my colormods, bloom etc i had to do new. and if somebody gonna ask its l4d alpinecreek mostly scenebuild and theres a secret person in this pic try to find him! hehe
It looks nice, but the lack of fingerposing really ruins it.
Testing a skin. No, to any questions about the model.
Are you going to add multiple skins to that trenchcoat (Basic gray/feldgrau etc.?)
Minor clipping with some fingerposing and the center guy's eyes are creeping me out, otherwise that looks really good.
Thanks for your comment and your models.
I've attempted to use GM13 once since the update, and it seems shadows aren't working properly anymore. I tried using the same console commands from GM12 and that one thread that goes around, but the filters don't seem to change anything and all my shadows come out as very, very grainy, at least those caused by the Lamp STOOL do. Anyone have an idea of what to do? Maybe I need to just keep fidgeting with the commands, or is there a "fix?" Also, I can't seem to bring up the post processing settings up on the context menu. Couldn't when I tried it, but that may just be me being stupid, since it was 3AM and I was sort of just wanting to test GM13. e. Just as filler, this was the pose that I did as a test. I got rid of the lamp because it was causing bad shadows and the sharpen is strong (yes, I use sharpen) because I couldn't tell what the hell was changing due to the huge, ugly UI blocking my screen. [thumb]http://db.tt/lsAd1WTQ[/thumb] 2e. Another question, to which I apologize for my lack of knowing how to work GM13, how exactly do I use fog through console? I figured the commands I was using were correct and the map itself just didn't support it, but I just figured I'd ask since I already started this post.

that arm looks a bit gimpy but nice job use ragdoll mover if you have troubles moving the arms
[thumb]http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y319/mightylolzor/gm_madgrass_v60000.jpg[/thumb]
The left arm could use some adjustment, perhaps lowered to seem less rigid, and the accompanying hand could be fixed to seem less limp. The right hand also seems rather awkward to look at, as the angle of the crowbar and the arm simply don't look right; I would suggest making the pose with your own body to see the natural or more comfortable positioning that would be seen, then trying to recreate that. The right set of toes could be flattened to the board, and his legs seem a bit stiff, though that may just be nitpicking. Looking past the posing, the blurring is way too strong for such a simplistic pose. I would recommend toning it down, maybe filling the space with something to balance the shot, although it would probably look fine without it.
