I didn't make a thread of this because it's quite plain. I was just testing the editors really.

Any tips on how to improve?[/QUOTE]
If you're just starting off, capture more interesting scenarios. Try simple themes like WWII or zombies (which both have a large number of high-quality models). Make your characters the focus, bring the camera close to them, and try to avoid empty space (especially when it's full of repetitive textures) unless you're using it as contrast (eg that Band of Brothers promo image). Try using lamps (not just the boring white lamp, though - colours are important), make sure you have your settings all the way up, use Super DOF (if you're not sure how, google it!), try very hard NOT to use emitters or the paint tool...
As for posing, it helps me personally to pose when the scenario involves some looming danger. That moment just before all of the action is full of suspense. Images like that are burnt into your head as those moments seem to last much longer than they do. They're certainly a lot easier to pose than action shots (which many people, even professionals, fumble with) but they still speak to that action. Maybe that's not your thing, though. I don't know.
Anyway, hope this helped.

Eh, I think this turned out ok.
I've been using this pose to practice lighting and graphics options, and I think I've finally got it perfect.
