hauptmann you need to REALLY focus on your posing. I get what you were going for but it looks like you got them in the general position then said "close enough". Try as hard as you can (and this isn't possible for every model/pose) to keep their limbs from clipping into each other. Also make sure their limbs aren't bent at extremely weird angles, as that centre German's arm is. That would have been a great scene if it weren't for some weird posing + the flat lighting as Back_Slash said.

your composition and colour is great! your posing (incl prop positioning) and use of ropes... not so much.
