;35104467']You don't have to be a master at photoshop to make things look good yo
But it helps a lot. Look at Urbanator's pics.

Urbanators pictures aren't all Photoshop... dude he has like great angles, great lighting and great posing then adds the effects and chucks some filters on.

Nice fire, but that red lazors looks awful.

I have to agree with the man above, the red light effects do look a bit akward. How did you make the fire?
simplest shit ever. 1. car fire on google 2. Find dark, high resolution picture 3. use ''screen'' on the picture in PS 4. ????? 5. Profit
simplest shit ever. 1. car fire on google 2. Find dark, high resolution picture 3. use ''screen'' on the picture in PS 4. ????? 5. Profit
And then blur the shit out of it.
Americuh fuck yeah. veri wip, first time I launched with that skin. Looks relatively better than the bright red.
Testing some lighting

That looks amazing.
Urbanators pictures aren't all Photoshop... dude he has like great angles, great lighting and great posing then adds the effects and chucks some filters on.
Since we're on the subject of editing and how it can generally improve your work, this was a pic that someone requested on DA that I just finished. It's very simple, but I haven't edited this in anyway at all. Wouldn't normally use this much superdof, but since these two are the main focus, figured it was applicable. Editing like Chesty I think once said, is like the icing on the cake - once you have cracked the ingame part, editing should be pretty straightforward.
Daww, she's hugging her to death
Now where the heck did you get the Kitana model????
I think this may be the first time I ever used the dodge and burn tool for any of my Gmod poses.

This was one that I had wanted to do for a long time, but when the time came to make it, I was not pleased with the result. Not nearly as 80's as I was hoping to go for. Especially since I'm having a hard time finding a good boom box model. [editline]13th March 2012[/editline] Here's another one. Completely forgot about this one. Tried to make it look like an old CD case found in a basement or something.
Wanted to try something a bit different, might redo is if I can figure out what to add.
If she was looking at me in a window, I'd shit myself.
She's taking hanging out quite literally.
PIC
you only pose people holding things like that
How did you do that? That looks amazing.
lots of patience, sweat, and blood
;35120912']you only pose people holding things like that lots of patience, sweat, and blood
Oh the irony, many of your poses are guys holding guns and firing.BTW,How I said,it is a lighting TEST.
Oh the irony, most of your poses are guys holding guns and shooting.BTW,How I said,it is a lighting TEST.
well that's pretty ironic yo, most of my poses are fluid and has proper lighting and composition, unlike your little cute stuff that only has people in the center posed akwardly with bad faceposing and sub par lighting  and just because it's a test doesnt mean that you should half ass stuff mmm
;35121051']well that's pretty ironic yo, most of my poses are fluid and has proper lighting and composition, unlike your little cute stuff that only has people in the center posed akwardly with bad faceposing and sub par lighting
Okay Mr.superestimated,it's just a test for lighting, you shouldn't expect a lot, anyways, not everybody have amazing Gmod skills to make perfect poses, incredible composing and lighting, that's why this thread exists, when I try to put a lot of ragdolls and props together, most of times turn into shit,so I do something where I'm not that bad at,and that's how I'm trying to develop my skills. It takes time.
