Man, these screens are fucking amazing. The editing is great, but it's the posing that really stands out. And those models, amazing. After searching around the half life 2 section on the dark matter forums, I couldn't find any of the models that you used unfortunately. :(

alsso, I have one teeny problem with the SH3 models, the human ones, like the nurse, and the protagonist, are a bit "heavy" meaning that they are not easily poseable.

I honestly don't see why they can't upload them to garrysmod.org, instead of putting them on a site where [b]you have to register just to download stuff but you can't because it won't let you[/b], that to me seems rather stupid. If you're going to put work into something, why not let people not on a certain website download it?

Okay, let's get this out of the way so there's no confusion:

I did not make any of these models (however, I did have a hand with the Goth Heather Mason in texture work and the overall process, even tho she's now lost to the ether of two crashed harddrives :() so I cannot release them. These models are found on DM, and yes - some are locked away to a hidden area of the site that is for trusted members only.

HOWEVER; there is a reason behind this and it's due to the fact that Mario's ports continually get leaked and it causes a lot of ridiculous drama. So, for him to circumvent said drama; he's gone this route and we have to respect that. I'm sure that sooner or later, he will cycle out the ones that are hidden [i]now[/i] as newer models become are ported.

So while it may be frustrating to wait (and trust me, I had to wait just like everyone else back in the day), you'll just have to (besides, it's far better to wait and finally get something, than to go through nefarious means to obtain it early - only to have the person that was doing the work stop completely [re: the sonic next gen porting project that was canceled]).

WallyGamer4: The models were beta, and they've stayed as such after a lengthy amount of drama ensued. This explains why some of the models are far harder to pose than others. HOWEVER, look for the console command "physgun_ragdoll_time_to_arrive" (or whatever it's called) and set it's number value at ZERO, which makes the actual beam of the physics gun stronger. Also, you can do up the phys_timescale command and drop it from 1 to .5 to make the models move in slow motion, thus letting you pose them easier.

And if all else fails, you can always use the 'easy weld' trick with a soda can to make the limbs/extremities move the way you need them to.

note: If DM is not accepting registrations I would assume it's due to an influx of registration requests, and since Mario is the only one running that site he has to personally take care of everything himself (on top of porting, fixing, adding texture fixes, lighting, etc per model).

Well, it's not that big of a deal. What I [i]CAN[/i] do is give you the name of the model, perhaps you can find it somewhere. The model's name is Frintessa (I know, sounds all girly) and it originates (apparently) from an MMO called Lineage 2.
