1) I believe the topic of this thread was "My Dark Matter official screenshots + [b]other GMOD images[/b]". As such, the OFFICIAL DM screens are the ones with the DM watermark. Anything OTHER than that is of my own creation (usually pushed forward by boredom) using models found both here and on other sites (just like any other image you find on this forum). 2)Let's not derail this thread. This is where I dump the images I create using GMod and the models ported therein (both from FP and from other sites). If you don't like a specific poster, person, model porter, or map maker, go take it up in another thread and leave that shit there. There is no ego here. People steal his work, and he has taken means to secure that this doesn't (hopefully) happen. I've had to do the same with my video work, as it was starting to cause problems when random kids with windows movie maker would edit our intro off a video and release it as their own. In turn, you have to realize just because we love using Garry's Mod, it doesn't mean we're owed anything. Period. We are LUCKY that people like Flux, Mario, fury_161, halo4life, luigimario, and Unknown even do these releases or we'd be stuck with the same stock weapon mods/hl2 civilian skins that permeate the content of this mod. CorbonFree: Think about it for a second. Do you REALLY think I would be posting the OFFICIAL screens for the Dark Matter release site if I didn't have permission? Come on man, use some common sense. :D

It's stupid to horde models because one egotistic leader is so worried about people "stealing" the models. Boo hoo, I'm sure Davor has had his models repackaged 1000 times and it doesn't look like he's really bitched about it due to the fact that it is the Internet. When you put something on the Internet you have to realize you aren't the end all be all of that model. You should just be happy that you made others happy. The modellers, skinners, posers, lua scripters, and mappers here are honourable. They don't take pride over freely spreading their work.

No, you WERE lucky. As up until recently he was still working with GMod and teaching many people who will be taking up ripping/fixing/and porting game models to this wonderful modification of HL2. The problem is that you think you're OWED models whenever someone decides to put their effort and time into a project just because you hang out here (and you weren't complaining until he decided to put Samus on lock down), and you have no respect for the people that actually do things like this - nor do you understand their perspective when all the time and effort they put into things are STOLEN and modified (poorly, I might add in the case of that Samus nude skin) as you expect them to just give you everything. Sure, you respect the modelers/map makers/etc NOW - but the second they decide they don't want to release something here and want to keep it for themselves and/or the people they trust, you'll start spouting about how they have massive ego problems as well; and that's the problem. It's a double standard and it's idiotic at best. You sir, are a very poor example of this community and I find it extremely sad (especially since we are often surrounded by brilliance here) that you actually think this way. I think it's time I take a break from the whole FP experience for a while, as I'm starting to get involved in all of this retarded drama that has nothing to do with me (hell, drama from a completely different section of the forum found it's way into MY IMAGE THREAD because people don't know how to keep their emotions in check). My next reply will be when I complete my next edit (so if you want to take over this thread to flame people who aren't here to defend themselves, feel free - you've done such a good job so far), and afterwards my entire focus will be solely based around the images themselves and the people who comment on them.
