This is fantastic work! Thank you for sharing it with all of us. I'm glad the jerks trying to pull the thread off-topic last page didn't discourage you.
You must know that for every one of those idiots that there are hundreds of us who appreciate the time you put into these images. I don't pretend to speak for anyone else, but a quick glance at your growing "artistic" ratings tell the story.
Thanks, I have to say that Joker image wouldn't have been possible without the brilliant skin job done by Ülfen. However, it must be stated that the image overall took around 2 hours of post production, with majority of time spent doing the hair entirely by hand, with the remaining time spent bringing the artistic genius of the model's skin to the forefront with small visual tweaks.
I think this is the most time I've ever spent on an image in the editing process, and it's good to see feedback from people that care. :D
I always wanted to mix sports and a shark somehow (and hell, explosions are always neat).

It's (I mean "they're) going, going, GONE! TRIPLE PLAY, CUBS uhm, "KITS" WIN!!
Had to put that new Maria model to good use (and holy shit is it a pain in the ass to pose/hand pose). Still, I wish someone would re-host Pyramid Head's Great Knife prop. That's the only reason why he's dragging a SH3 nurse around (without a weapon/victim in his hand(s) he looks fairly tame)

P-p-p-p-panty shot.
Well, that was SUPPOSED to be a weapon like the Great Knife - but since I couldn't find it hosted anywhere I had to go with a Nurse (besides, we all know that PH is down with rape - it's what he does) and improvise on the composition. :D
Since when do the nurses in Silent Hill have a face, I thought they were supposed to be faceless? They don't look creepy with a face. In Silent Hill 3 they looked a bit more human, but I'm pretty sure their face was still deformed a bit.
Both Silent Hill 1 AND Silent Hill 3 nurses had faces. The only one anyone remembers is from SH2 due to it being over hyped like mad (well, and the film).
In SH1 they were normal nurses with giant parasite deformities growing out of their spinal columns, while in SH3 they were normal looking - albeit with their eyes closed and the skin around their mouth ripped off (on the other hand, the aesthetic could be taken as they are made to have their mouths shut by some type of tape/binding material).
Very nice poses, lol. I did this on my first account with frinttessa or whatever the giant demons name is.

I know, I know - the whole portal cake thing is over played, blah blah blah.

Heh, "Cheesecake".
It's not a lie...
Another update, this time with one of the last releases done by DM:

I always like your pictures, very nice work! You have talent.
Thanks Kane, I appreciate the work you do as well (TF2 - Meet the Workers was a classic)

So wierd hehe
I wanted to test out the flexibility of the "Eureka" model, and it's so flexible (without being borderline retarded) that you can set up poses like this WITHOUT having to resort to the easy weld trick. It's refreshing to see a model that isn't strictly tied to the standard HL2 bone structure (sure as hell makes posing a LOT easier).
Yeah that's nice
I don't get it.
Why can't he just make the models, and be happy people are downloading them, using them, and thanking him for uploading the models in the first place.
It doesn't matter to me if i make something (Which i probably won't because i'm a lazy bastard :v:), And someone takes it I KNOW that means it's getting popular and people are spreading the word about it.
It's not that people are enjoying what you made, it's that people steal your work and say they made it.
That's what this guy is trying to prevent.
I have had my artwork stolen before without crediting me and even 1 dude saying he drew it.
I don't care if people take my artwork to show people, but id like credit, though as long as the creator says "i didn't make this" then I am fine with it, but I HATE it when people said they made what I made.
and I hate it when people say I made something that I didn't.
People put a lot of work into things that they do, and to see someone just outright steal it is hurtful.
Thanks for uploading these, Excellent posing and really great editing!

Well i've had some guy steal my myspace picture of ME and say it was HIM
Talk about creepy.

:v:
Well, ok I think that we can't change his mind, we'll never get these models I think. But dreaming about having them is also nice :D
That Eureka model really looks flexible, posings like that are very hard to do with the normal hl2 bones, very nice!

I bet you money in about a week someone's going to get the models on garrysmod.org
those models are crap anyways, i wouldn't want any of them

No, a lot of them are nice. Not all, but most of them.
1) You can find the majority of his models (including this Eureka one) on his file front page. It's been posted numerous times, so I'm not going to post it again.
2) The bone structure in this model is actually really REALLY well done. I can't stress the idea that sticking directly to the standard HL2 bone structure when porting a model is LIMITING the ability of people who are looking to pose stuff (without having to use massive tweaks and advanced posing tricks like 'easy weld' and whatnot).
A perfect example would be to sit Flux and Mario's ports of Zero Suit Samus next to one another (keep in mind that in NO way am I discrediting Flux or Mario here - just pointing out the differences from a practical point of view). Flux's port, while giving us a plethora of face posing options (which always is appreciated) has issues with flexibility; the model itself is a stiff and almost useless for more dynamic poses without having prior knowledge of the easy weld technique. Mario's on the other hand is lacking in both face and finger posing (very basic) - but the flexibility and intuitiveness of the model makes it extremely easy to pose (that shot up above with Master Cheif and Portals, both were done without the need for an easy weld trick due to the flexibility of Mario's port).
In a perfect world we would have models with the bone structure/collision/flexibility (and redone alpha maps/textures) of Mario's ports coupled with the care, knowledge and expertise of Flux's face posing.

They really should work together :v:
The community would benefit more if people would work together in general - but with a lack of an intuitive knowledge base for teaching people how to port/how to face pose/how to rip/etc we have such a small group of legitimately skilled people here, and they all seem to work on their own projects without taking into consideration how more productive it would be to get a group working together (ie: if there were multiple people with the skill sets of Flux and Mario working on that Smash Bros Brawl project we'd have more than just 3 or 4 models by now, easily).
I still wish I had skills at doing any one of those parts of the process (instead of just posing/editing) - as I'd love to team up with a solid group of people to churn out releases (one face poser/one finger poser/one ripper/one model porter/one bone/qc creator) for the Garry's Mod community.
I really wish I had the skills to do something awesome like that, too. But I don't know anyone who could teach me. I really would love to contribute works to other people.
