Quality content in here... I remember when this thread was for good posers who couldn't edit themselves.

Now its just people making 2 minute poses just to put it in here..

I don't see much good content being posted here.

Unless you have some sort of illness you surely can pull off basic light editing and such.
If you have something very heavy that you don't posess the time, patience or skill to edit. Then this would be the perfect place to put it. I really enjoy editing good images.

Poor image quality, poor posing, poor camera angles just to name a few. Who's gonna sit down and spend hours on editing them?

People don't make a 2 minute edit just for the sake of putting it in this thread, make an awesome pose, and if you feel you can't edit it yourself, try your luck in this thread, and perhaps the thread will bloom again.

I post stuff in here because my attempts at editing are bloody awful, I don't expect people to turn the stuff I make in to masterpieces, but if someone feels like practise, and can make a mediocre picture look good along the way, then surely everyone wins? Ever since Vman [URL="http://i579.photobucket.com/albums/ss236/Ineedascotch/TankEdit.jpg"]slapped a bloody huge muzzle flash on to an Abrams tank[/URL] I posted way back in 2009, I've thought the idea of people who are decent (or at least on their way) at making screenshots interesting with edits has been fantastic. Just to illustrate my point a bit, it'd never even occurred to me at the time, when I made the tank pose that it could actually be firing, which is why I thought the edit was so great.

This is something I get said to me a lot, and I honestly have no idea how to get round it, or what I'm doing wrong, I use jpeg_quality 100, always save my images in the highest image quality possible, and I stopped using tinypic as an imagehost a long time ago. Although I don't have the sixth sense artifact spotting capabilities that you gents sport I've been unable to determine whether anything I've done has made a difference. So I don't have a higher quality version, but I do have the scene saved if you know how I can raise the image quality.

Anyway I realise posting a wall of text and not actually contributing anything here would be a dick move so here's some NT Style heist stuff originals I attempted to edit recently;

the rifle looks really silly

second to last one has some awesome as fuck composition. some dodgy posing kinda mars it though. the rest is okay just the composition is pretty meh, lot's of negative space and looking off-screen and not much interesting to look at

Yes, the creature in the background is dark, but it is extremely easy to fix that with some editing and still make it look good.

There should be some *fire, better snow, *shadows and...the rest is up to you.

The '*' marked effects mean that they are kinda required.

the lighting should be the other way around

The glasses are from that pack of MW2 headgear and stuff someone made a while ago, the earpiece looks like a shrunken Neotokyo computer model.

The gun looks like the back half of a Barrett M98b with a mag in the side, no idea where it's from.

and that other eyepiece thing on the bikers picture looks like it's some piece of tech from Neotokyo as well
