As I said earlier you sparked me into making some simple MP jet and so I did. The only thing left is to make a reliable gear without latches which I could actually use some help with. come come come! by sax's and I'll fly in formation with you.

I would love to fly in formation with you, and take some pictures, but Sax is not working for me and hasn't been for like a month now. Maybe the server moved? Got an IP?

i doubt it has been that cool though
A lot of work went into deploying/retracting of the gear so that it will always do what its supposed to do no matter what. It will buckle on hard landings, but that's what happens to real planes anyways.
Has anyone seen any other Gmod planes that have folding gear like mine? All I've ever seen are the ones that go straight up.

I had the ones you have on my SU-25, but they were prey of the rapist called duping. Also, the latches would fail pretty hard when dupe didn't rape the axis and stuff. Anyway, I'm cracking on a new system for my JA-37 but right now, every time I come close to finishing it the server crashes >:(

This doesn't work at all for me. When i load the dupe, it is all about 10 ft above the ground. When I unfreeze it, the rockets fall off and fly directly at the plane. Then, if i get in, most of the display is missing. The landing gear wobbles around like a drunken sailor, and the weight seems to be off on the hull.. it's 150 pounds. I have wire, parenting, gcombat, everything...

10ft above the ground and 150lbs (Kilo) is right, everything else? Weird. If you've got all the major addons, then its probably your Gmod. Sorry, but my my suggestion is to reinstall Gmod and all the addons.
I've used all five dupes on many servers, and they work fine.
I'll try it on some other server...
Actually, could you give me a complete list of the addons needed? There is something wrong. On every server, it spawns elevated, the sounds to not work, and it goes really slow.

Wire and PHX are all that's needed.
I see now some of the problems you're getting. I updated the Wiremod SVN and now the weld latches and sounds no longer work.
And yes, it works just fine on Sax... probably because he never updates his SVN!!! Of course, he got lucky this time.
I'm going to revert to a previous SVN...

Reverted to April 1st SVN and everything works fine!!!

Oh, i see it. Just so happens i recently deleted the old wire and got a newer svn... Jesus... All this just for some flight >:( I'll try sax's >:)
