Can you reveal your secret for the fueling system?
Just use an accumulator.
When your flying, the fuel -= 5 or whatever. The faster you go, the higher the rate it falls.
And to refuel, just do += 100 or whatever. Lol.
I'd recommend clamping the lower value of the fuel system to something above 0. Engines on idle do still use fuel, y'know.

The dup sinks for me, the landing gear can't support the weight of the actual plane.

If the landing gear is going crazy when you dupe it, you need to revert your Wire SVN to at least April 1st.
If the landing gear is buckling, you are putting too much weight on it. It supports the weight of the rest of the plane just fine. When you dupe the plane, unfreeze it, and let it fall to the ground while hitting it with the phys gun to slow its decent. If you grab the plane with the physgun and put it on the ground, you are basically putting 50000kg on the wheels instead of 150kg. The gear works perfectly if you use it right.

...ok, I've found the problem. It was not the hydraulics at all, instead it was an E2 function.
The E2 function first() which set a bunch of stuff upon spawn stopped working after an SVN update.
By using duped() instead of first(), SA-Jet is again fully functional!!!
I'll have to edit all the dupes and re-release the jet again.
In the re-release I'll have included yet another lag-conscious version of SA-Jet as well as the save for my workshop that you saw in the video.
Cool, I know of a few other people that are having trouble getting things to work when spawned with E2. That Supersuit (I don't remember who made it) has that problem where you have to reapply the E2 afterspawned.

- Fixed problem with hydraulics not being initialized and screwing everything up.
- Engine has been recentered to prevent pitching on afterburn.
- Engine model changed for better thrust directing and look.
- Tail fin and elevator rewelded to stop slight roll.

Haha! If you walk up to the cockpit and look closely in the middle-side of the cockpit, there is a transparent piece from the seat -- press use on this.

That's because you're either pressing the wrong button or your files are fucked up.
The gear works fine on Sax, G-Land, Nodex, and my singleplay.
Whatever button you have for reload is the button you need to press.
I would fly it, but it appears that I need the latest wiremod. I got wiremod, but I get spammed with errors and it screws up the entire game...

you need to download weight mod :D
and if your wheels don't retract then make a backup of all your addons and install gmod again
and start with wire- adv. duplicator-phx-and fin/wight tool and ofcourse the jet ^^
if that doesn't work use svn to get wire form scratch

Whatever server you got banned from, you should be happy; if an admin is too stupid to realize what's lagging his server, then it's not even worth going to. Plus, if my plane lags the server, then the server itself is a piece of shit.
Hello, my problem still hasn't been solved. I've updated Wiremod SVN and PHX 3 SVN and I still get spammed with errors. I really wanna fly it, please help!
