To be honest, if I were a young German man in 1940 I would try my best to get into the SS because one is less likely to die if one is in an elite fighting unit.
The amount of casualties were actually higher in the SS, these weren't just regular soldiers. They fought for Nazi-Germany and the Führer and they would die for it. Feared among the allies for their brutal but brave fighting.
Looks more like a Weasel... Nice picture by the way.
They fought for Nazi-Germany and the Führer and they would die for it.
You can't generalise like that.
It's a fact you can look it up yourself if you want, anyway I'm going a bit off-topic so I'll leave it where it is.
You can't generalise like that.
Chesty, I agree. I once read a book about a Dutch ss'er he and his fellow soldiers just gave up to the allies without a fight and they did not die FYI.
Isolation errors on the gun.
Its good, but I really want to see something that doesn't have to do with WW2 or Modern soldiers. Hate to say it, but these pics are getting really boring.
I spy clipping on his trigger finger.
Nice
Amazing work
I'm loving the SS camo pattern. That's the only sensible way I imagine putting those models to good use in you-know-what (if they were SS and not Wehrmacht). Did you skin that yourself?
Looks great and everything, but almost all your poses are really generic (DoD ones especially get old). Combine your epic editing skills with some more creative scene ideas and it'd be perfect.
New display pic .-.

The head and the above waist area looks real and fits with the picture, when you go down to the thigh area the guy looks unfitting to the picture. I like it and better then anything I could do, but its keep yanking on me.
I've seen it all.
We all know that Crytek is behind this screenshot. Right? RIGHT?! Most awesome screenshot of the week!
nope, new version. get on steam at some point
I gave bloo the idea :p I had to force him to get up and work on it. so thank me for another bueatiful skin by bloo
yeah but THIS ONE IS [editline]02:26PM[/editline] and he's delusional, he thinks ground squirrels are Jewish
I'd give a squirrel a glass of milk :)
Looks quite generic to me.
Its good, but I really want to see something that doesn't have to do with WW2 or Modern soldiers. Hate to say it, but these pics are getting really boring.
There isn't much else to pose. WWI, civil war, future models etc, models like these are very rare.
Honestly... that has to be a real image? The only thing i can tell are from a game is the head (and rest of the skin you see) and the weapon... wth. Pure win. Pure awesome. Kudos and manlyness to you!
Such a awesome image!
You can't generalise like that.
Yep. Finnish SS volunteers didn't fight for Nazi Germany or the Führer. Most of them joined the Waffen SS to only fight against Russia, after the Winter War had ended.(1939-1940, Finland vs. USSR, ended into Interim Peace which only lasted a little bit over a year and then started the Continuation War, Finland vs. USSR) But because of the Interim Peace, some Finnish young men joined the SS for better training(not that we wouldn't have been good already :q:) and willing to fight against Soviet Union. Soon as the Continuation War started, most of the Finnish Volunteers returned to Finland. Some still stayed in the Waffen SS till the War ended. Besides, Continuation war ended in 19th September 1944, as a result... well. I would call it a Draw. I forgot to mention, Russians wanted us to drive the still fighting germans out of Finland (They were fighting in the Lapland), and so we did to keep the peace that had Finally come.
the gun looks terrible, but the rest looks awesome. [editline]06:33AM[/editline] also his helmet is sitting way too high
You know he can`t do anything about the helmet do you?
