Where's this damn update? I've got muzzleflashes and explosions down but I still suck at blood! Haha. :(

Just noticed the layer thing. that makes the moon lightning step kinda overcomplicated, there's a much easier way to do it when you have layers, and hopefully layer properties.

And there are layers. You just duplicate the layer and put a blur filter on it, and just color it a little differently.

Yea, I do suppose that explosion can work on the same prinicple as muzzle flashes, its more the muzzle flash and smoke tutorial combined. It would have to be more about teaching [I]how[/I] an explosion should be designed and what pictures to use, rather than just knowing how to find an explosion image and editing that in.

And thanks, this tut taught me how layering works, when it used to be "that thing people talk about as if I should know it, but I don't"...
