Take your time, you have lots of potential in this thread and I among others welcome you to it.
I don't know how much my opinion matters, but I think he's balanced his moon base enough. It's clearly not for military purposes so it really doesn't give him that much of an advantage against anyone else. Just as long as he isn't building some sort of super weapon, I don't see the harm in letting it be. Besides, depending on what his faction specializes in (gathering intel from satellites, creating new tech, ect) I think it would make his faction an interesting addition to the thread. Just so long as it's fairly balanced.
But my fear is with this, people will then want to go further and further until we have galactic esp wars v4 'Dude where's my Death Star' edition

Eh, I started work on 2 factions for about 15 minutes when I gave up on posing the slides. Anyway, the solider in the white are like UN soldiers, who are attempting to restore order and assist the civilians torn by war. The robot thing, is a prototype super suit stolen by a group of rag-tag mercs (about 20 of them, so they'll die out quickly, they only got their hands on 3 suits anyway).
I'll give them a bigger backstory later, when I have the energy/creative mind. I do apologize in advance for the dull posing, I do dislike the slide style comics, so I got sloppy near the end.
