Information Security
A firm of highly trained individuals specializing in information retrieval, delivery, and destruction. They are a Neutral faction and cater to the highest bidder. They have a high tech arsenal of gadgets and goodies to help them finish their tasks. The only problem with their services is the number of members in which they employ, while the true size of their ranks are unknown, they are often spotted with only squad strength deployed in one area at any given time. If they are in any more than that, you know the contract is large and worth the effort.
ok everybody write a faction overiew or find your old one.

SIS was founded by former US Green Beret Graham Chaplain who was frustrated that his expertise was being wasted by the government on mundane peacekeeping operations in the Middle East. Once news of Odessa's bombing reached their firebase, he was contacted shortly after by a Towerlight operative offering him a lucrative job. Seeing a potential way out, he quickly signed on. He were then given the task of starting a security corporation to protect and advance the interests of Towerlight and her allies throughout the globe. The trademark quality of SIS contractors are the armor that each contractor is assigned. The concept is simple: take the reactive armor that protects many tanks today and miniaturize it so that it can protect an individual man. [sp]To be clear, this is not power armor, they are not supermen, it is merely an advanced set of armor that offers excellent protection from gunfire, shrapnel, etc.[/sp] The armor comes hermetically sealed with a 30 minute supply of oxygen before switching over to an ABEK-HgP3 filter. SIS is still a rather small operation, but this allows them to train each contractor to a much higher skill level than average (about equivalent to an experienced US Army Ranger, if not higher). This lower troop number has also allowed SIS to purchase a handful of prototype V-280 Valor helicopters (very similar to the Ospreys the US Marines currently use) as well as several Little Birds and Humvees.
This looks mightily interesting, and I'm somewhat decent at posing. Though I don't know the first thing about hacking models to make my own units, and my military knowledge is fairly limited. I wouldn't want to look like a tool.
Alexandrian Monarchists Homebase: Somewhere in former Yugoslavia, presumably Macedonia Current Deployments: All over former Yugoslavia, Greece, western Turkey, and Romania. Manpower: Around 200 trained soldiers, with an unknown amount of civilian followers The Alexandrian Monarchists are a faction that sprouted up recently in the Balkans. Their leader is one "Basileus" Aleksandr, surname unknown. Their main style of warfare is co-ordinated attacks, where a large "A team" holds the enemy in place while a "B team" flanks the enemies and destroys them, usually with high precision weapons. Their leader claims to be Alexander the Great, the son of Zeus, and the true leader of all the free peoples of the earth. He speaks out against many different governments, claiming them to be tyrants and despots. His goals appear to be to become "Basileus" King of Macedonia, or Macedon as he calls it. He says that he will then conquer all of Asia minor in the name of freedom and revenge towards the Persians. Units [T]http://i.imgur.com/c7AHN5y.jpg[/T] Many of the monarchists are merely equipped with whatever it is they find, usually cold war era gear. But some of their troops are pretty well equipped, such as these two soldiers guarding this underground facility. (photo courtesy of the Monarchists recruitment website.) The soldiers are of a decent mixed nationality. Macedonians, Serbs, Greeks, Croats, Bosniaks, Bulgars, and even Turks. Aleksandr seems to keep these clashing nationalities in check by claiming that if anyone was unequal, the Gods wouldn't have made them, and that all are great men if they follow him. They seem to have stockpiles littered throughout the Balkans. [T]http://i.imgur.com/qu29k9u.jpg[/T] (photo courtesy of the Monarchists recruitment website.) As with most monarchs, Aleksandr has a bit of an ego [T]http://i.imgur.com/u39zOLX.jpg[/T] (Photo courtesy of Aleksandr's Twitter)

oh god i have to go through the old thread's 9824824247 pages again to find my faction's description [editline]15th May 2013[/editline] oh wait fuck that here it is
the Order of Iron Chaotic Neutral History This obscure brotherhood, possessing advanced technology, was founded somewhere in Europe during the Dark Ages to oppose the oppression of the church while developing science and technology in secret. After this time of recession had passed and arts and sciences slowly started advancing, the Order, having come to the conclusion that eventually there would be a war that would ultimately devastate all mankind, decided that their mission would be to stay one step ahead of the outside world in all technological advancement, so that when the time would come they could give humanity the means to survive and rise again in a possibly ruined and post-apocalyptic world. Throughout the course of history they have, in addition to researching advanced tech, manipulated the events of the world in the direction they've seen would take them closer to their goal. What they haven't been able to change or prevent they've to the best of their abilities tried to ensure would never happen again; for example, being unable to avoid the second World War and the atomic bombings of Japan and thus the loss of millions of innocent lives are something they feel extreme guilt for. The following Cold War was also of their manipulation to ensure at least a temporary peace time between the superpowers, though many in the Order protested against the dangerous gamble with nuclear weapons. Several scattered pieces of evidence of the Order appearing throughout history in key events have led the few who know about the organization to believe them to be the infamous Illuminati, while the Order in fact opposed the 18th century secret society and were the first to tip the authorities off about them. Now, at a time of international conflicts and crisises they have decided that the time has come to emerge from the shadows and try to bring peace to the world, by force if necessary, for this is the only way to save humankind from its own terrible weaponry. Tools originally developed to combat the threats the outside world has developed and technologies to ensure prosperity and wealth are now being turned to vehicles and weapons of all-out war. Their armies seem to be appearing in remote and mountainous locations, and dark-armored soldiers have been spotted in Tibet, Siberia, the Andes and the Alps. During their first offensive they liberated Tibet from China and crushed all military resistance with ease: Even though China kept reinforcing the local garrisons the then-unintentified war machine could not be stopped. At first China accused the US and NATO of attacking and was preparing for global warfare when the Order revealed themselves, leaving all sides of the conflict dumbstruck. The US contacted the brotherhood for alliance in hope of gaining their strange technology for study, but the Order turned down the offer with force, destroying the diplomatic party and calling their lethal response a taste of the coming repayment for everything the US has done in Middle-East among other countries. The US considered rallying NATO against the Order but their attention was turned elsewhere when the Battle of New York broke out. Doctrines and practices While they try to avoid war at all costs, they have concluded that if the only option for two men is to do battle, they are to do it one-on-one, face to face and with absolute honesty. Because of this, in combat the brothers of the Order value honor above all else; in close encounters they fight with their bare hands and without dirty tricks, even allowing a downed opponent to get back up before attacking again; they also do not employ snipers or other stealth operatives, and intelligence gathering and spying are kept to minimum, as these are seen as the ways of cowards. The Order does use small commando squads when necessary, but this is very rare, and even the commandos are known to go through the front door all guns blazing instead of dropping in through skylights or vent shafts. Enemy civilians are always treated fairly well and humanely, but the enemy force itself is never given remorse or mercy, for the Order intends to show those who wage war what war really means, and then some. Extreme hate is saved for snipers, spies and enemy special operatives. These cowards are usually killed in brutal and painful ways, often with bare hands. The Order does make use of ambushes, but in these situations they always reveal themselves to the enemy before whipping out their weapons. Their own forces are usually easy to ambush due to their rule of keeping intelligence data on the enemy low, but it is not unusual for the brotherhood to drive the ambushers away. When it comes to weaponry, the Order favors direct-fire ordnance and unguided rockets while outright shunning energy weapons and guided missiles as tools of dishonor, even though they have the technology to build both at will. Cannons, machine guns, grenade launchers and other ballistic weapons are thought to give the opponent at least one chance to avoid the incoming projectile and thus offer a somewhat more fair fight. Indirect fire is rarely used as shooting from a great distance away is seen as dishonorable and unfair, but when the aggressor is behind a barrier that can't be breached without heavy losses to both sides, artillery cannons and rocket launchers are used to flush the enemy out. One interesting detail is the fact that no-one in the Order has any markings of rank on their armor and they never take their helmets off when there are outsiders present, and in addition their voices are filtered through deep, metallic-sounding vocoders when they broadcast outside their helmets. If an enemy assassin takes down a leader figure, another will step in to fill the fallen soldier's place and take command. This has created an illusion of a faceless army without number, and most people don't even believe them to be human. How they recognize their own brothers is a mystery. Weapons & Armor Each man of the organization is outfitted with an armored exoskeleton that grants somewhat superhuman strength, which is useful in close combat as well as when lifting heavy loads or clearing rubble. The armor is vacuum sealed which allows for operation virtually anywhere, but despite the assistance of the artificial exo-muscles the armor weighs the Order infantry down and their armies never advance quickly. In some situations the weight of the equipment works in their favour, as it is impossible to throw an Order soldier off his feet with standard infantry weapons, only a heavier blast like a landmine can topple them. In close combat all clumsiness and sluggishness disappears as the trooper drops all his ranged weapons and battles it out with his bare power-armored hands. The armor is not perfect, however, as the joints are relatively unprotected. A glancing hit from shrapnel or standard handguns will only leave a scratch but direct hits from rifle-caliber projectiles go right through. The few times a brother has taken a serious hit in combat, the round has usually penetrated a joint in the torso or neck armor. Lost limbs are usually replaced with cybernetics. Their own weaponry is relatively inaccurate, kept like that to give the enemy a fighting chance, but still rather devastating when a round hits; each bullet contains an explosive that detonates on impact. The standard issue infantry rifle is something that resembles a miniature full auto grenade launcher with 80 rounds in a magazine. Heavier targets like vehicles are taken out with gauss rifles and low-power railguns. Tank shells do not differ that much from other modern tank ordnance, but the Order concentrates on AP rounds and HE shells are never used; shooting at infantry with heavy explosives is cowardice, except when it's a sniper or other stealth unit in the sights. On these occasions they load into the pipe
