Special Task Force 5
Summary: The elite force of the newly formed Republic of Cascadia's Special Operations Battalion in the Pacific Northwest. STF-5 is trained alongside the Canadian Special Ops Battalion, and is considered a Tier 1 Special Operations Unit. The unit is comparatively fresh, although many of its men have previous special operations experience.
The small nation has opened its doors to Japanese refugees, as well as the Japanese-government-in-exile. Its military has also been bolstered by remnants of the former Japanese GSDF. It is reasonable to assume that Cascadia plans to assist the Japanese government in reclaiming their home territory.
Alignment: Neutral-Good. Tends to work closely with Canada, Japan, USSOCOM. Cascadia sports mostly good relations with other countries.
Current mission: Evacuate remaining Japanese leadership in the wake of increasing tensions on the island of Honshu.
Other missions: Clandestine operations in Japan. Potentially create armed insurgency among isolated holdouts.
Current affiliation in Towerlight-PGI conflict: Unknown.

Also due to a recent conversation with FT, I think it's about time I step down from being the OP, lately I've been pretty lazy, and as much as it pains me to say this I've kinda lost a bit of interest with this thread/Not as enthusiastic as I used to be, and I haven't done anything with NPC factions in ages and I've been the OP for over a year.
Any ideas to who a suitable candidate would be?
