The fire effects are superb and the shading is nice too. The motion-blur is also decent. The little fixes to the textures and models are a lovely addition.
However, the whole picture is kinda... dull. The lack of notable changes to the contrast, curves and colouration of the piece makes it so that, once I get past looking at the sexy fire, everything else is somewhat flat and lifeless.
In this respect, Mosquito's edit was vastly more interesting and rounded. This is a great shame because you're pretty much the fucking God of effects, Vman, but the lack of really simple stuff like messing with gradients and contrast and things of that nature means your pictures don't really come to life, in my opinion.

I'm failing to understand your logic as to why one would be better than the other. If it looks like a scene from a movie, then it would have to look realistic and in motion. A movie poster would have to look more stylish and enticing. If something is realistic and something else is stylistic, that doesn't mean that one is worse than the other.
And what is the point of saying that it looks like it's from an "over-hyped" or "long" movie? How does that have anything to do with the picture?
