Nice suggestion. About to incorporate new post-processing methods, better (face)posing and actual speech bubbles for a less crappy feel with the pictures, as interactives are quite indeed a crappy genre on facepunch, but there's some things you have to do before you die. Might take a little bit for latest panel to show up.
Ok. Also thanks for still doing this thread. I didn't realise how old it was when I commented :D.
Ok. Also thanks for still doing this thread. I didn't realise how old it was when I commented :D.
Thanks, and it's fine :p. Right now I'm looking for a good editor to add the speech bubbles and post-processing. First I tried GIMP, but I couldn't find any good tutorials and was left generally confused. Then I tried comic life, as I used it way-back-when for various things. However, it turns out my demo expired, and I would have to pay 30 dollars for something that most people on facepunch say "sucks shit"... Now I can't really find anything. I can post the images here right now without editing or speech bubbles, but then the only things that would change from the previous pictures is less "silly" posing and things like DOF & color processing in some shots (from the post-processing GMod menu).
I'd recommend not doing bubbles anyway. I like interactive comics better without them. Also I won't be on for until Sunday but keep updating this thread! It's actually a amazing interactive comic compared to most.
Update please! I need this to live!
Update please! I need this to live!
Er, sorry about no updates. I'm a bit busy with real-life at the moment. Unfortunately, real life is not as cool as not real life. Trust me, I have NOT given up on the idea for Calendar. I spent most of my free time attempting to make screenplays for the scenes after the battle with the angry guy. I just haven't had enough time to pose the characters and edit the scenes accordingly. I'm really sorry. If anyone wants to pick up this project, I can send you the entire plot synopsis, download for the map and gun props , and anything else you might need to continue the project. Thank you all for reading.
