I just noticed that I may be a subtle racist since in both pictures of the Left 4 Dead 2 survivors I have the black characters on one side and the white on the other...

Ellis reminds me of CJ from Dawn of the Dead, The black cop as Coach, Rochelle as the main, female role, whom loses her husband in the film. And Nick as that dude in the film, whom kills himself in the end. Yeah, spoilers, but, they remind me so much of Dawn of the dead characters.

I think they're semi based on those characters, characteristically and physically.
