I do.
IL-2 Sturmovik will be MINE.
Haha I have it :downs:
no, you can get it off TgiFallen's svn:

Okay, Thanks :)
meh. On one hand I wouldn't mind competing. On the other hand, my own chips essentially do the same thing as V1kk, I don't use thruster movement or velocity compensation (my aiming doesn't even use trace), but they're much easier to tweak (and I absolutely hate using anything of anyone else's...I won't even use sestze's walking chip).

Well Red Dorper it doesn't seem like the V1kk will be a must after all, seeing as however you wish to wire it, it will successfully be characterized by the rules required; the ACF rules and the rules of this competition.
I told Karbine to give it away to anyone who wished for it (to just add a download link in the OP,) merely for the purpose of inviting anyone who wasn't as wire-fortunate as you or many others.
as for using your own, to make everyone fair, it's best to use 1 chip for everyone.
Do you even read posts?
Do you even read posts?
Jesus fucking christ, stop being so fucking offensive. I simply informed you about what me and Karbine talked about. Stop your shit, be nice for once.
Can someone give any tips on building suspension on tanks?? Or jsut suspension in general... I'm completely out of the loop... :saddowns:

you'll give in, eventually. :haw:

Most people don't build suspensions on their tanks. Weight suspension, light wheels with a heavy base, etc etc. It works fine.

Tank comp sounds good so far, though. Looking forward to participating and what have you.
I've always imagined that they had tanks filled with some miracle lighter than air gas.
The tanks are actually totally solid metal with negative mass.
Explain that with your science.
i've come to the conclusion that v1kk doesn't have to be used, but just make sure your stuff is at least wheel powered
Could you PM me the chip? I was interesting in using it for the competition.

Wouldn't the wheels just lie. flop.. Do i have to use adv ballsocket??
Wouldn't the wheels just lie. flop.. Do i have to use adv ballsocket??
It's suggested that you use advanced ballsocket to syncronize the rotations of the wheels, acting like a tread. Other than that, one axis per wheel works fine.
i've given up on this. it's obviously too hard.

There's this magical stuff writers use to make shit happen that normally shouldn't. It's called Phlebotinum. :v:

Your death will come slowly.
Something something raped with forks

there aren't enough people who want to participate and no one will actually complete anything without an actual prize and i don't have money

Sounds like the truck competition.

Sounds like 95% of Gmod competitions.
i want everyone to post who is interested and wanting to be in this competition. this is going to be a lot of work for me, and every time i put a ton of effort into a contest, everyone shits on me.

Ill be in for sure, and ill see it through to the end.
I'd be more than willing to join, but I know of nobody who'd be my partner, and I can't really do anything tank-wise. I'm a one trick pony, here.

Cheer up, I've already got my tank for this competition. I was gonna give you suggestions for the obstacle and firing course as well but I'm competing so that wouldn't be fair.
Real life stuff is in the way at the moment, lol.
I'd encourage people to compete. This isn't exactly rocket science; most ppl can crap out a tank in a few hours tops. They're really simple to make (most people go with no suspension, simplest of simple turning, and "no-frills" modeling.)
I need a driver if I enter (which I probably will.) Whitey, can you drive a bulldozer?
