No, when something doesn't seem right, the best thing is usually to stick together if you don't both wanna die. I'd rather scout the area for activity. If it's a trap, the people that set it up surely won't be too far away. It's always better to catch your enemy at his hiding spot, than walk into his trap to see if it is one.
If one is captured and the other escapes, he might be able to seek out help, warn others, ect. If they both get captured, it remains a secret and the marauders are more likely to succeed.
At the very least they should keep a good distance and wait a bit to see if anything happens, and then return to an agreed-upon meeting place to compare notes.
Guys, for future convenience, I really encourage you all to post suggestions. If you don't have anything to say, [i]please[/i] rate people agree/disagree. It really helps the both of us. I don't like doing the first suggestion or the one I like. Doesn't really make it interactive.

Anyway, theory time! Basically, what I think is going on.
[sp]So, I think that these "Marauders" were hired by the Neo Formation to steal people from the area, since the place Mark started in was run by the Rising Return, their rivals. Since the Marauders are dead (As far as we know), its possible that the deal went bad somehow, and the NF just cleaned up and left (probably with all their prisoners, too).[/sp]

You guys wouldn't mind me reviving a long dead comic, would you? I just can't give this up; I'm too interested in the little universe I made for these guys, and I want to see how far I can go with it all. Also, I still need to learn how to pose better, and I figure that I may as well continue what I've already started instead of making something new.

It's 9mm. you cant really shoot much through a wall with 9mm.
Look around for a fan of somesort or somekind of dense object, and begin FANNING the gas towards Marl himself.
Besides, you cannot afford hitting the tanks, you would just gas him, and yourself.
Use the wall for cover like Sam Fisher, and kill Marl. Hold your breath, then drag Pete to the safety of downstairs (if he's still alive). After catching your breath, head back upstairs and open ALL of the windows, to let the end gas air out. Once it's gone, loot the area!
Hope you can start up as soon as gmod works again, BTW.

Yeah, thanks. I really want to get this going again; I didn't revive this for nothing!
