Well not to be a nerd, but according to Mass Effect Lore, Turians and Krogans don't always see eye-to-eye (they kinda hate each other). Something to do with hurling asteroids at each other's planets and forces.

Well no one really liked them because majority of them were slavers and fanatical terrorists. Added that they were Mercenaries and are pretty blood-thirsty; they are involved with a LOT of criminal activities, and even tried to drop an asteroid on the human colony of Terra Nova which would have resulted in a millions of lives lost in the impact and after effects. So yeah...^^;
