I joined at first because of all the really excellent models you guys and gals were making, and eventually came to like it here a bit. Something like that.

My original account was made in like... 2006 or 2007 but I never used it so at one point there was a mass wipe of inactive accounts so I had to remake this account and then the gmod10 beta began and I was occasionally visiting facepunch to look for models and maps because gmod.org was such a shitfight to use 9/10 times. I also used to browse the screenshots section when VMan amongst others were still regulars to edit and post screenshots, sometimes I'd read whatever arguments Rossmum got himself into when dealing with people who'd just make generic middle east combat poses with shitloads of brown color grading and bloom out the ass as if having huge quantities of either made it a quality shot. Then I met Korro through... I think Loen. Then from there, Korro made my first perskin and the rest is history.

I joined Facepunch because I wanted a personal skin lol.

I just stopped by for the free models and got stuck here when someone stole all my money

I had an account I made just because, but then Shotgunguy convinced me to join this thread and browsed the rest of Facepunch as a result. That was like 2008/09. I've been here for 6 years. What is my life

I joined facepunch thrice - first in 2005 as Lt_Commander, but activated the account to a dead email accidentally and never actually used it. Then, as I released stuff exclusively on PHW, someone loaned me their FP account as a proxy - I would log in with his account and post threads for my skins in the skin section. This was circa 2005, I remember the 1-5 rating system and smartness bans. Finally, when PHW effectively died, I created the account I have now. Lt_Commander was still a reserved account at the time so thus Lt_C it is. I've had a personal skin since before it was a thing with a thread and a name (Which was created because perskin poses were filling up the screenshots subforum), I think I've posted at least once in every version at some point or another. All of the stuff I make is general poses - I don't do perskn pics anymore, sfm or not. I kind of half-retired my male_06 head as a general non-binding one, and there's something off about the custom head I have now. Fixing it is just really low on my current list of things to do. Boy, those were the days. Man, I miss the comics from that site. Nostalgia, sigh.
