This recent death carries no dramatic impact at all, but it sure was comedic and it felt good.
This whole thing is just comedic, I can't take it seriously.
Oi, did anybody get the license plate of that helicopter?

You should know better than to make little bunnies cry.

Shadow can be such a jerk sometimes.

douse them all with piss then pull out your bushwacka
What do you think this is? TF2? In the meantime, I brought a Profile update to keep the topic alive until the next issue is made.

i think the editing could use better work, and definitely better posing, now to evaluate the story.
EDIT: Ok, let me get this straight, this is a HL2/TF2/SONIC crossover fic in the form of a gmod comic?
When will we start seeing Reptile from mortal kombat or the L4D Characters pop in out of fucking nowhere?
EDIT 2: i wouldnt mind if it was a crossover of multiple game series, rather than just SEGA and Valve (i dont get the match)
EDIT 3: Snipped out the part about sonic, really i have mixed feelings towards the series since ive seen so many "Kawaii/Furry" fans of it, im not going to assume your one and just a casual fan of sonic.
but i also don't like the games after the adventure games (which showed signs of it all going down hill by introducing big, amy, and shadow as examples)
if sonic was good after 1999, id probably be saying less hate about it other than the 1st fact which isnt much.
Yeah, I could do with better posing.
This comic is at its basic level a Sonic Fan Comic that takes place in the Gmod/HL2 world with the sonic characters as the main focus. Though characters from other series will make an appearance. Such as Tooty from Banjo-Kazooie, Mario from his series, or even some pokemon.(see issue one for Meowth)
Characters that do appear though, I must know at least something about them. this means that such characters like Reptile from mortal kombat will not appear as I don't play that series.
now I can understand your mixed feeling about sonic. The fanbase has been divided by the classics, the modern games, the fans that like them all, Sat AM fans, Archie Sonic Fans, Fleetway Sonic Fans, Manga Sonic Fans, etc. I personally consider myself to be a hardcore all around Sonic fan as I tend to enjoy most of the sonic games, including the ones on the slope down. but sometimes, the engine of the game is just so bad that I have a hard time playing or they end too quickly. Games such as Sonic 06 or Sonic 4 Ep1.
Now since you mentioned Amy, She was actually introduced in the Classic era in 1993 on the Sega CD. The game was Sonic CD. She would appear again in the Gamegar games Sonic Drift (Jp only until Sonic Adventure DX) and Sonic Drift 2. the Saturn game Sonic R, the arcade game Sonic the Fighters, and hidden away in the Sega32x game Knuckles Chaotix.
You may want to try Sonic colors for either the DS or Wii as they are both showing signs of improvement. The DS game feels like it has more classic physics than Rush and Sonic 4, and the Wii version actually has fully playable Supersonic. Something not seen since either Sonic 3 and Knuckles, or Sonic R. If you don't want to try it, that's ok too.
im still completely lost about the story, so what is this, the combine are just doing their job then some mutated talking animals spew out from the subways so the combine feel they should kill them to prevent a pandemic
but then tf2 characters show up and others, then theres a birthday.
i cant follow anything. at all
The birthday comic is Non-cannon. To try to follow the story, look for the issue numbers at the bottom of each comic.
But just in case, here's a recap. The Sonic Characters are partying at a place called "Club Sega". (Hence the Sega logo on the outside). A Meowth is being held by Buns in the Omega Care Unit (The Blue Omega) as Meowth is a Nintendo Character and only Sega characters are allowed in. The Combine then arrive at Sega City and begin to attack as the city was reported as an unhit area. Shadow, who was standing watch, spots the first wave and starts the evacuation.
Vanilla, Cream's Mom, fearing for her daughter's safety, thinks Cream would be better off going with Sonic's group rather than going with her. She begs Shadow to take Cream with them. Before Shadow could object, Sally pipes up and offers to take care of Cream while she with them. Shadow then makes it her responsibility to take care of Cream.
As they are about to leave, Shadow makes Sonic the Driver. Sonic complains about having to drive (A Reference to fan complaints about Sonic being in a car in racing games), but Shadow then calls him out for being a passenger and forces Sonic to either Drive, or Run.
As Shadow's group leaves, the comic switches to Dr. Breen's office where he's complaining about the Juggler he hired for his show being unable to make it. A pathetic Low poly Knuckles Edit from another comic then arrives and attempts to make a deal with him, addressing him by his first name and offering a robot army. Breen refuses and is instead given a piece of paper with information about a rebel group that has been reported to be headed towards City 17 in a blue truck.
When the comic rejoins Sonic's group, they are stopped at a closed gate. Vector's group then shows up. Charmy the Bee is suppose to be the navigator, but thanks to google maps not being of any use, he is instead reading web comics. More specifically, the 2D sprite comic Dimension Sonic, issue 28.
Vectorman then complains about how slow they're going and that there is a helecopter following them. Vanilla and Cheese (Cream's pet chao) are also in the group as passengers. Vector Crashes the Van through the Gate so they don't wast time finding a new route.
This causes Sonic's group to be spotted by the Helicopter and the other way around too. Sonic then follows Vector's group out of Sega City.
During the chase, the Helecopter is joined by 2 Gunships that start shooting at the 2 groups of refugees. The helicopter then gets ahead and starts dropping bombs. In response, Vectorman makes the mistake of firing at the bombs, causing them to explode.
As a result, 4/5th of Vector's group are killed. 3 of which are given graves while the 4th, being a robot(Vectorman), is just left on the road. the survivors are shaken up at best, traumatized at worse (Cream). Cream rushes to her now dead mother. Cream, having never faced death before, doesn't understand at first that her mom is dead, until Shadow bluntly tell her so.
This causes Cream to breakdown crying and upsets Sally after she tried to break the news to her gently.
The Sniper, who was using the Gas station as a shelter, rushes out to figure out what happened. The comic then jumps past the quick funeral that was had for the 3 killed who were organic. Vectorman, like his games on the Sega Genesis, winds up forgotten on the road as mentioned earlier.
We then have shadow leaving from the Garage of the station after having dragged the now destroyed truck in. He and the Sniper get into an argument about how to handle the death of Cream's Mom around her. Shadow then storms out to keep watch for the combine again.
The Sniper then calls Shadow a Jerk which causes Sally to respond.
And this is where we are now. The Birthday comic was just a out of cannon comic with no relevance to the story.
A big Paragraph I feel like I'm at school. :emo:
This update came quicker than expected

now they are god knows where, completely ignoring the story if there ever was one
even as you tried to explain it im still completely lost
This issue is Non-canon to Dimension Sonic The Other Dimension. This issue is actually from the main Dimension Sonic. I actually have 2 series going on and post both of them in this topic when they use Gmod. You can tell the difference by looking at the the series title at the bottom if there is one.
Really, no means to be an ass or anything, but this really isn't the place to be putting Sonic Fan stuff. If you're going to make a Sonic Fan Comic, at least learn how to use a decent photo editor, until then, expect a lot of flaming.
but this is the place for gmod comics, plus I already have several sonic sites and even a megaman one covered.
Yeah but... I hate to be the one to say it, but it's really not that great of a comic. Like I was saying, the Sonic sites would probably appreciate it a little more. I'm in no means trying to be a dick, I'm really just giving you some advice that you'd do best to heed.
[editline]6th April 2011[/editline]
If I come off badly, don't take it personally. There's just a LOT of bad things that have come from Sonic fan stuff, and It's gotten to the point where I really cant stand it anymore.
I fully understand what you're saying. But I already have the sonic sites I go to covered. they are: Sonic Fangames HQ, Mystical forest Zone, Bumble King (Ian Poto's forum), Sonic Retro, The Middle Ground (Seen in issue 9), and the forums of the sprite comic Power Rings. I also post it at a megaman one called Sprites Inc.
I just like posting my comics where I frequent. I even get PM'd and posts from people here saying they like my comic.
I know some bad things have come from the fanbase. Bad things such as yaoi parings, but some good things also came from it too. For example, fan made remixes, music based on the series, and even fangames and hacks that rival even Sega.
Now this comic should get better as I go along. I already have plans that extend to several key points in the story. Some of witch have already been shown in previous Sonic topics and the screen shot section.
Although I do like the inclusion of sprites. Maybe make a spinoff comic that only uses sprites on HL2 maps, that'd look cool.
Dimension Sonic: The Other Dimension is the spinoff. The recent issue that used both models and sprites is from the main series Dimension Sonic and is the April Fools issue.
Now I haven't actually posted the main series as it is made in MS paint with help from Photoshop and consists of sprite work.
But I might be able to post it in Creationism Corner's MS paint section.
Plus Classic Megaman didn't have a usable 3d model so I had to use his sprite instead.
The Other dimension update
Now is when we go into Shadow's past.

Funny funny stuff.
Deviant Art Quality Stuff IMHO, sorry but it is critique and not blatant flaming.
It's pointless to make 6 panels comics when you are trying to tell a story and not some satires.
So what do you suggest I do? I rather not have each panel as a separate image file like most comics here. I also don't want Photobucket to shrink my comic either.
Please don't think I'm putting down what you said. I just would like more detail. without more detail, the chances of anything getting changed are slim to experimental.
Just make it longer, as if you were writing a text for your class. You want to make sure every single idea in it is covered in that particular page so then you can move in to the next which covers another part of that idea, or another idea that matches.
And make it more interesting, something that will make us want more of that story until the end of it.
Okay, I'll try that. Though with Gmod pictures it tends to get a big enough file size that photobucket resizes it if I make the page as big as the birthday one. so the next issue will be 8 panels long, but not as tall as the 7 panel birthday issue.
And now Dimension Sonic TOD has been upgraded to the 8 panel format.

Next issue should be about the dangers of free healthcare.
