guys. you tell everyone to stop replying but then you say something at the end to fuel the fire. what hypocrisy. shut the hell up everyone except from yamibito who I am waiting for to reply to my suggestion. stay on topic god damnit! [editline]12:58PM[/editline] I really want this series to work. I really enjoy it. hoenstly.
On Topic: I have to be honest. While the point of the videos is to "entertain" I came in expecting funny. Not one of the videos made me laugh at all. Sorry. The camera work and editing were good I guess.
Eh, I saw entertaining as generally worthwhile to watch. TV dramas (leaving aside ones opinion of them) are considered entertaining, though much of the time they aren't funny. Though I get what you're saying, there isn't really a better word for what Yamibito meant.
Ok, here's what's going to happen. Kurit is going to reply to whatever mass of text he feels the need to. When he does, do not respond. If you do...well I don't know, you're only going to be hurting Beaver Fusion. So be quiet when he responds, let him go away
The Robster: I TAUT DESE VIDEOYS WER GONA B FUNY BUDT TEYRE NOT SAD AFASE :(
The Robster: I TAUT DESE VIDEOYS WER GONA B FUNY BUDT TEYRE NOT SAD AFASE :(
What the fuck? Also, comparing 3ds max to Sony Vegas is like comparing apples to plastic bags.
What the fuck? Also, comparing 3ds max to Sony Vegas is like comparing apples to plastic bags.
Well I am learning 3ds max, just so I could do these flowing animations and Vegas is pretty good, but If you want a machinima full of effects you're gonna have to use something like after effects or other
So Kurit is better at making videos because he knows how to use 3dsMax? Vegas is a bad video-editing program? What the hell are you smoking, Kurit? These arguments are preposterous and they make no sense.
No one said anyone was better than anyone else. 3DS max is a professional program, it is better than Gmod, it's better for filming. Comparing vegas to After Effects: Yes it is bad. Simply saying, After Effects and 3DS Max are better. [editline]02:14PM[/editline]
Ok, here's what's going to happen. What was it then? Bah. Comparing Sony Vegas and AFTER EFFECTS is the same damn thing. After effects is good for single videos that need touching up and Sony Vegas puts it all together. It takes a fuckload of time for a ram preview in After Effects but with Sony Vegas it can be done faster. I would use it to add sound to videos exported from AE. DIGITAL FUSION IS BETTER THAN AFTER EFFECTS CAUSE IT CAN USE AFTER EFFECTS PLUGINS. LOL.

A Ram Preview doesn't always take a long time, the time it takes increases based on the amount of Effects. When vegas has a lot of FX built up it lags and you can't get a smooth playback.
Vegas isn't there for all the fancy filter and procedural stuff that After Effects has. Vegas' motion blur looks horrible lol. I'm just saying it's faster and you use it to add sound scores and mix/resize videos or whatever. I can't preview sound in AE unless I ram preview part of it. Kinda annoying.

Well, you won't use AE for editing a 10 minute clip.
Let's talk about this damn project i beg everyone. I want it to improve and where on earth is yamibito. need to speak to him.
Well, you won't use AE for editing a 10 minute clip.
I have. [editline]07:25PM[/editline]
Let's talk about this damn project i beg everyone. I recommend that people have a set topic this time.
You should be in charge of this project. Yamibito is negative and defensive. I recommend that people have a set topic this time.
in fact I actually would take charge of this project if yamibito couldn't be bothered with it or something.
kurit you're taking this much more seriously than it needs to be
bad timing. I have to go to bed now.
FOCUS ON THE FUCKING THREAD FUCK /caps
kurit you're taking this much more seriously than it needs to be
You want it to be successful right?
ON TOPIC: I've decided to post my own review of the video. Faolco's: I liked this video, it was put together well, well posed, good plot, but it seemed out of place in Beaver Fusion. What I mean is that it seems more like the type of video to be released separately as part of another series (The Gmod Factor?) rather than be a short in this video. All in all, a great video, but maybe not the best for Beaver Fusion. It also seemed a bit long, but that didn't matter much to me. Yamibito: I really liked yours. It was simple, straight to the point, and it had me guessing right until the great punchline. Kurit may not like its lack of massive epic scenes and such but in my opinion that is what made it great. I'm not going to critique mine, I know what it is. Adam: The troll beggining was ok, but it wasn't that great. I liked your portal and the slo mo crash, but the whole skit left me a bit confused as to what was going on. I liked it, but again, I didn't really understand what was happening. Fumples: Yours was great as well. The skydiving scene was spectacular, as well as the fight with the dragon. Cool dragon, btw. I liked the suddenness of the guy (you?) waking up, as well as the sound effect. I really liked how you posed the guy looking around, it looked realistic. Once again, great video. Great submissions guys, I can't wait to see Episode 2.

Ok yamibito. are you going to change the way the shorts are presented at all?
He's going to change them, I'm sure. And Robster, don't argue with Kurit, you can't argue with someone who don't know what he's talking about. Yamibito I'd just tell people not to put credits in their video with the exception of maybe the video title.
Ok ysmibito. are you going to change the way the shorts are presented at all?
What with the title cards? Not really no, I'll improve it as it goes along but I won't change the way it's fundamentally put together just update it to look nicer. I'm going to recommend not putting credits in your own video from now on and instead providing me with all the credits when you send me the video. After Episode 2 there will be a theme for each episode along with a deadline so it's more organised, the first theme will be horror and I've got some other ideas for themes including Dark comedy, Western and Sci-Fi. At the end of episode 2 there will be a short clip telling people how to enter so that we can get more people in on this rather than just this small group. Time limit will extend to 2 minutes 30 seconds max so that people are less restricted in what they can film in the themed episodes. Episode 2 still has a current deadline of July 7th.

So say after EP2 is Western, we could have some people apply for the western theme and they are expected to reach a deadline.
did you get my improved title card bg yamibito

I think we should make a steam group of people who contributed here. Also that theme idea sounds nice.
did you get my improved title card bg yamibito
Yes.
I think we should make a steam group of people who contributed here. I'm probably gonna make another short again, but it'll be a lot better than my last one. And it'll be funny.
