but the guy's a mad genius and knows how to make even that sort of outfit make sense in his world
To People who played MGS: does this outfit actually make sense in game world? And he can be a mad genius all he wants, doesn't change the fact that the outfit is just plain silly and unnecessarily overly sexualized.
The moral is, you can't please everyone, so exercise your artistic freedom.
Ok, with that statement on its own I do agree. The picture, however is just dumb.
Who the hell would say that about the second outfit?
feminists
[IMG_thumb]http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2014/358/f/b/zone_by_ryu_gi-d8b1eps.jpg[/IMG_thumb] This is the only one i liked... You need more practice at poses
feminists
Oh come on now
that picture is obviously satire jesus
Well... it is in Afghanistan and it's awfully hot sooo she has kind of has an excuse. Either way it still looks silly.
They really don't.
Who the hell would say that about the second outfit?
It's sarcastic. Probably.
what a bunch of nerds [editline]30th December 2014[/editline] quiet would've been hotter in a gorka imho tho you gotta stay classy
For all you people saying Quiet's outfit is bad, Kojima wanted her to be naked due to the fact that the powers made no sense with clothes attached. She basically de-materializes herself and re-materializes herself for the concept of "we're all the same underneath the skin", following the RACE theme of the game. But they were like "Kojima please, we can't have a naked woman running around with superpowers."
To be fair, skintight suits are primarily for stealth, not direct combat, so armor isn't exactly practical when quick movement is top priority. Not to mention a zipped up suit would be a lot more believable.
If it's leather or latex or any similar material, it's for neither. a) it's really really hard to move in these tight and strong materials. Neopren is your best bet on something similar. b) it's really really uncomfortable c) It's really fucking loud. The tits are bit silly as well to be honest. But one can almost assume she'd uses double sided tape.
For all you people saying Quiet's outfit is bad, Kojima wanted her to be naked due to the fact that the powers made no sense with clothes attached. Alternatively, if you are already giving her clothes, give her something at least normal. Like something that would actually support those breasts of hers. And doesn't look completely silly.
Keep'em coming Ryu-gi. (wtf are all these guys talking about metal gear for?) I digs this shit! Oh and an after thought. I thought that model have rotatable tits. The pic where she's hanging down shooting the bad guy. Her breasts still look like shes not upside down.
Added a couple new shots.
rotatable tits
sounds like a grindhouse movie tbh
Pretty cool man. Work on posing people with shotguns more. Those are pretty rough in these. Also, make your vehicles look like they are in motion. add some slight blur on that bitch
sounds like a grindhouse movie tbh
The nipples are little dart guns.
Pretty cool man. Work on posing people with shotguns more. Those are pretty rough in these. Putting aside the nature of the model, i'll say that the poses a great.
Well if Quiet's outfit can make sense, Spy Zoey's catsuit looks practical as hell. Also speaking of "slapping some BDU's on her"... Are you guys the same people who attack archer for what the agents in the show wear?
Are you guys the same people who attack archer for what the agents in the show wear?
I thought archer was a comedy show that took the piss out of stuff like that though? [editline]4th January 2015[/editline] tbh, skimpy suits aren't THAT bad, depending on the context but a lot of the time, they really just don't fit at all
do you seriously believe this oh shit you're serious [editline]4th January 2015[/editline] The right side is an actually practical outfit that is actually used in actual real life scenarios and no one actually says that unless they're delusional or messing with you. and using the left one is genuinely sexist and fucking come on, that's the least practical thing to wear in combat when you compare it to something that actually stops a bullet rather than being bare flesh the logic is so silly, like what
Yeah, the picture and captions are a joke, I realize that, but Poe's law is also a thing sometimes. Also, the MGS series is home to cyber ninjas and giant robots that are somehow more effective then nukes. Suspension of disbelief is kinda key. Logic can sometimes be overuled by the "rule of cool", and it's perfectly fine.
The MGS series is also home to cyber ninjas and giant robots that are somehow more effective then nukes. Suspension of disbelief is kinda key.
I never could get into MGS and things like that so maybe I'm biased
MGS is known for its serious gritty commentary on war. But at the same time it's also known for pulling shit like this: And I'm not kidding when I say that's not the weirdest stuff they've done. Quiet is literally the least out-there thing in the series.
MGR isn't really a prime example of it considering it isn't technically a Kojima game iirc.
Logic can sometimes be overuled by the "rule of cool", and it's perfectly fine.
Please do tell us what is "rule of cool" about Quiet wearing ripped tights and a bikini instead of literally anything else (including a latex bodysuit, which would still be dumb but less so)
it's not the Rule of Cool it's the Rule of Sexy two completely different things
it's not the Rule of Cool it's the Rule of Sexy two completely different things
Ok, rule of sexy then in Quiet's case. It's still a thing.
