oops, got me
i double checked too, huh
[editline]02:10AM[/editline]
my point still stands
You know man, you're exactly like Kurit. You might just be better at making poses than he was at making moons.
are you fucking serious?
unlike kurit, he knows what he's talking about. unlike kurit, he does not have an aversion to criticism. unlike kurit, he does not try and bully and harass people by arguing with literally every post they make in any thread, anywhere on the forums.
if anyone's like kurit, it's the spoiled little babies who are too precious to handle the thought that they're anything less than perfect.
Bhahahaha 69105 you serious
[editline]10:20AM[/editline]
It's just a screenshot from a sandbox game why are you having a fucking fit
[editline]10:20AM[/editline]
I can't tell if you're joking or not
[editline]10:22AM[/editline]
Jesus I have to come to this forum more often, Garry's Mod screenshots and movies, SERRRRIOUSS BUSINESSS
perhaps he wants people to improve from an artistic standpoint but is easily frustrated when they sperg out because of criticism
-
i can see that youre a regular in this forum...
/
fucking ninjas
It's a screenshot from a game, no wait a sandbox
The hell is wrong with him I think he needs to get out more maybe
Hah, that is nice!
bubba, you're as bad as kurit was. if you can't accept crit - especially when it's for someone else in the first place - fuck off.
Funny, hesitated to say the same about 69015. Dude, your behaviors are the same, you can't take crit yourself and tell us what to do, because your way is obviously the best. I can take crit, if you look back at pretty much all of my stuff, I'm opened to C&C and most of the time try to learn from my mistakes.
The only difference between you and kurit would be you're better at posing than it was at making moons @Kuyler. Also your bullshit doesn't with me, you're hiding behind the Constructive Criticism argument the fact you're just having a superiority complex. If you managed to convince some people you're right, you didn't lure me.
Now I am sorry for derailing the thread, I got nothing against you rossmum and I'd like it to stay the same. I'm not going to have any other fight with 69015 since everything was said and there's nothing else to say about him on my side.
Edit: just in case, I'm talking about 69015, not your rossmun.
polite.
Fuck that, it's the internet. Sure being polite makes you and others feel nice and shit but it's not necessary or recommended.
These threads are so entertaining to read.

this, a thousand times this
in any case, i have yet to see being polite get anywhere. if you're polite, people ignore you. if you're abrasive, they either start paying attention or they stop posting, either is a win.

I'd treat the idiots here the same way in the real world, too, because that's all they're worth (and I know, physically, they wouldn't do shit). You think I act differently in the real world due to petty fears? You're mistaken.
No, I do not think that.
Damn that looks cool
ITT: People raging in the internet because internet is serious business.
Its a hobby. It doesnt mean anything. How the hell can people be so serious about this shit? There are much more important things than "Garrys Mod Posings".
Don't bother man. I tried giving the same argument, but the same small handful of people have to keep putting up their UberArtist fronts and act like this shit's important, probably because GMod is the only thing they're good at.
I hate people getting pedantic.
I didn't came here telling you all that it was my best work, pretending that I put a lot of work in it and that it is the best thing you ever saw.
Period.
[editline]03:06PM[/editline]
Now, Gods of Photoshop, please forgive my so-called artistical dishonesty.
Just a draft to see if I was able to do it.
apparently, you can't.
the camouflaged soldier is missing an entire dimension, which is especially apparent around the feet and hands; it doesn't help that you gave him a completely obvious silhouette (here's a hint: the entire purpose of camouflage is to break up the silhouette in the first place!)
how could you possibly think this was a feasible attempt at camouflage? i'm looking at the picture on a shitty TN panel monitor and i still immediately spotted the guy. it doesn't matter how closely the picture represents optical camo from metal gear solid (an effect from a game that's now over 11 years old). it still looks like shit. the distortion effect might have looked alright if you had applied it more sparingly, but you just went nuts with the aberration, making it stand out way too much.
Look, it's supposed to have a Metal Gear Solid feel to it, and it does that perfectly. My memory may not be the best, but I would say this is pretty darn close to what it was in the game.
Except it had a green tint ingame.
Shit this reminds me of when i unlocked the optic-camo in the PS1 version of MGS. Good work pMnky, nostalgia bomb.
Also, raging over screenshots with silly reasons to do so? Cunt please.
Oh, and stop complaining, its accurate to the game, seriously.
Except it had a green tint ingame.
green tint? could have sworn that was only like mgs4.
green tint? could have sworn that was only like mgs4.
Its lighter in MGS3 and 4, but its visible in 2 and 1.
[editline]05:18PM[/editline]
Check it.
[editline]05:19PM[/editline]
Atleast for gray fox i think.
Oh ok never mind. Justed looked at soem pics and you were right.
10/10 argument thread. Would fuck again.

That explain why it went to page 2. Always Drama. Again.
That explain why it went to page 2. Always Drama. Again.
Best change it before people rage again.
Nobody gives a shit that I know what a displacement map is because they don't know what a displacement map is. I have the right to claim to be better than everyone else because, apparently, it's true.
I've tried to be polite. If you make an honest mistake I'm nice about it. If you continually make it or if you do it because you're a lazy asshole like pmnky here, then obviously you're getting on to my bad side. It's basic logic here, folks.
Ok, I have two things to say.
Since you are better than all of us, I suggest you tell us what a displacement map is and how we apply/use/whatever it correctly. Instead of spending all your days on this forum being an ass in general, teach us. If you think that all of us are so bad at making quality screenshots, show us the right way instead of just sitting on your high horse with nothing to show for it.
And seriously, if it's perfectly logical and fine for you to flip a shit whenever a person YOU DO NOT KNOW AND WILL NEVER MEET IN REAL LIFE doesn't bid your commands make you angry, then you've got some serious hubris.
In short, chill the fuck down, make tutorials, teach us how to do it right, and stop being a goddamn dickwad.

Also you have obviously never played an MGS game.
The optical camouflage looks like that on-screen for the player, so HE DOESN'T LOSE TRACK OF HIS POSITION, but he's really 100% invisible.
Good god you don't know shit of what you're talking about.

you're so close minded it's not even funny
tell me, are movies terrible wastes of time because after all they are just stuff recorded with a camera
