Some of us do this type of shit for a living, you know. Some of us plan on doing things like this for a living. You can say "I'll never use this for practical purposes!" all you want, but the truth is it will serve you better in the future.
Think about it. You don't use your camera to take pictures and Garry's Mod has, readily available, subjects whom you can do whatever you want to whenever you want to without worry about confrontation about it. You have full access to a suite of features and tools at your disposal like Photoshop that you can learn to use. Editing Garry's Mod pictures is no different than making a Hollywood movie poster. Throwing "I make pictures in Garry's Mod" isn't something you put in a resume, no, but I'd sure as hell put some edits done with Garry's Mod in to a portfolio. Why not? It's not about how creative you are.
There's some very very creative individuals here and it breaks my heart that they aren't using thorough logic to realize that this [i]could[/i] open a whole new door to being successful. This is THE ultimate classroom environment -- where you get honest criticism. I'm here to criticize so people can get better; not hold their hand.
