Kurit better be a troll
Unfortunently, i dont think he is.
Look it up, man. When an image size is increased the pixels are stretched making it appear low-res.
[editline]09:50AM[/editline]
idd link you some websites if i wasnt on my phone.
No, i admit i dont know much about pixels but i know thats NOT how they work.
[editline]09:57AM[/editline]
Oh, and you meen the image is stretched.

I dont know much about pixels either but i have a computer, when im not sure i look information up to verify who is correct. No, im going to hold to my facts on this one, dont take my word for it, though, look it up yourself.

So you verify it by looking up a random site with the answer?
So you verify it by looking up a random site with the answer?
Random site(s) yes . Is doing internet research a problem?
Random sites which may not be correct.
[editline]10:24AM[/editline]
Oh, interesting pixel fact, the world is made of them, somehow (dont ask) they proved it.

There is a lot of information on that page to go through on my phone. From what i have seen the topic revolves around pixel scailing. In what part does it say its not possible, man?

Computer, go on it, read, stop using a phone, i imagine it would be harder to use then when i had to use my psp/ps3 to post on here.
[editline]11:47AM[/editline]
Well, the reading bit, the typing wouldnt, thats a bitch if you dont have the controller keyboard.
and i thought you were more mature than this. A perfect example of lackful criticism.

you should keep doing hair edits, this looks promising

Im at work on my break right now, i cant just go to a computer, if i had one avaliable i would be using it. The problem with this phone internet is the speed and sometimes im not able to view certain web pages. From what ive skimmed over on that wikipedia page, i did not see anything saying the pixels cant be scailed. I dont understand what the big deal is anyway. Most of the people during this conversation wornt present during the time we talked about this last week. I dont understand why people are even trying to get involved. It really isnt important.

I didnt notice a problem with the water.
The FF are very detailed, more detailed than the source models. The reason they take up so much space is simply due to this fact. In comparison, the quaility of everything made is high poly, yes and has a higher resolution(Which is a good thing.) I have yet to have a problem working with these models in any way, neither do I think the same quaility work can be released and be compared with the quaility of his models and textures.
If I'm correct, his name is illuminati on other websites and his modeling work is unmatched to the modelers in this community. I also doubt that he would steel or have any reason to steel someone elses work.(Not counting the use of Valve Characters.)
Basicly saying: No Ross, just no.
Not counting how high poly or HD you get, it still matters absolute bloody squat if the result looks ugly as hell. Which is the issue with FF models.
Even his normal headed alyx has a chest that completely doesn't fit the model, not even talking about the awfullness that is his fetish head.
Same goes for the rest of the models.
His models are very much like poser characters - super detailed, yet super ugly.

When an image size is increased so are the size of its pixels. This is the concept I was explaining.
No no and no again. When an image is resized, the amount of pixels is changed. Not the pixels themselves. The fact that a 1 px black square still looks like a black square is because the resizing more or less appropriates surrounding pixels to the right colour values.
Pixels though can be increased. Go to a sports stadium - see those massive screens they have - for all it's worth, they can have the same resolution as a computer screen, but have massive pixels.
Wanting to be a cg artist and knowing zilch about pixels is kinda a bad reference if you ask me.

His models are poser models and I personally think they look great, me and the thousands of other people who use and download them. Regarding pixels, i can safely tell you that the amount of pixels does not change unless you shrink the image. For example, if you want to add more pixels through a process called interpolation, it will up the visual quaility of the image. Basically you can add pixels yes but enlarging the picture keeps the same ones, it just blows them up to where they look shitty. Look it up, man. Just look it up. I understand that everyone is in a hurry to prove me wrong but in some cases people need to think for themselves once in a while.

The ammount also changes if you resize the image to be larger.

Link please.
What the hel-just use an image editor program, resize it, and zoom in.
Btw, Wraith, I want to see some links form you so I can see where you're getting your information.

Are you trying to say new ones are added or subtracted?
[editline]06:26PM[/editline]
If the image is enlarged or scaled down, what are you expecting to see that displays a change in pixel count?
What do you think?
What do you think?
If the image is scaled you can see the pixels much more easily due to the fact that you enlarged them, however before you scaled the image you had to have counted them to notice a visable difference more accurately. When an image is up-scaled pixels are lost and in some cases when you shrink them the same occurence happens. Yes, you are partially, right. I wanted to hear an explanation from you, though.
You dont enlarge the pixels, the image is smaller than what it was, it doesnt have as many details if its scaled up, and it looks blurry, ITS NOT because the pixels are made bigger.

Please tell me you're intentionally trying to joke right now.
Since when you enlarge an image - safe from the size of 100x100 pixels to 200x200 pixels you definitely DO NOT CHANGE THE SIZE OF THE PIXELS. Instead new pixels are created.
I don't know the math behind it, but via various methods your existing pixels are transfered to multiple ones.
Notice also how images are usually listed via pixel count - 100x100 pixels, 300x300 pixels etc.
That is as how far computers go, and under standard pixel density. That's important as well of course.
If it just enlarged pixels (which is common sense it doesn't), there wouldn't be multiple Enlargement options in photoshop. Could you please for once shut the fuck and get out? Nobody likes you in any way around, you're just a retard and I don't even know why mods didn't lock you out.
Hell I don't even know why your mother let YOU out of her.
When my dick gets hard, does it stretch it's pixels? I try to use anti alias when that happens so it looks smoother.

Kurit. Lol... you are absolutely the dumbest motherfucker in existence. Literally, so dumb that every post of yours makes me lose brain cells.
It's fucking logic. You cannot make pixels larger, they're Goddamn PIXELS. When you enlarge, it stretches the picture out, making more pixels with it, but not placing them perfectly since the resolution isn't what it's supposed to be, so it gets Low Rez.
It's goddamn logic, you keep saying "Look it up man" but it's really fucking you that needs to. Hell, you don't even need to do an internet search for that. Just put it in photoshop, zoom in to all the pixels. Enlarge the picture, the pixels will still be the SAME FUCKING SIZE YOU FUCKING RETARDED FUCK.

I mean seriously, you've NEVER noticed this?
I'd think you were a troll, but even good trolls don't sass moderators like you do.
And if you ask for a fucking link then you really are as thickheaded and retarded as a brick.
if pixels were stretched every time something gets resized i think my monitor would be pretty fucked up by now
