The size of a given pixel can't be changed no, but the word I was thinking of is [U]Pixel Dementions[/U]. Pixel dementions can be changed and this is the word I meant to say in relevance to our past debate on a different thread. You guys are very critical on inconsequential details, big word, huh? Anyways, a lot of people are pissed off right now, that's what I get for leaving out a single key word eh? Apparently that makes me the "Dumbest mother fucker in existence" according to HWECQI.
Back on topic, adding the word [U]dementions[/U] after the word [U]pixels [/U] in my statements does make a lot more sense as I am at fault for not providing that word. Pixel Dementions can also be called resampling, it's basicly a process of adding pixels or removing them. It's not as much a size matter as it is a percent matter but you get the idea.
My original point dealt with trying to help someone out in understanding the quaility loss in enlarging an image. I basicly said this...
"if an 18 inch monitor has a resolution of 1360 by 768 its good quality, if a 32 inch monitor shares that same resolution, it averages out. if the starting resolution on the skull is 2048 by 2048 initially, then you enlarge it, what happens to those [U]pixels[/U]? they stretch therefore resulting in poor quality."
