I remember Silver Raptor and Archie's Facepunch Comic Awards thing. They did it for a good 2 years I think. Oh how I miss all the comic makers that have moved on... :smithicide:

Guess It's time for me to say something. I've been for Facepunch for only a year, and during that time I made nothing more than crap comics and bad ratings. But I have to say something on behalf of everyone here. Fort's departure is depressing and sad, but it also tells us to carry on without him. Facepunch is past it's golden years, which reminds me heavily of how my life is now. But that doesn't mean there is no hope for it to become a glory once again. I myself may break away for Facepunch for moths or so, but I tell you this and I tell you this now, I will NOT leave Facepunch, no matter what. Facepunch to me and hopefully to others is more than just a forum, but a way of life. It is a place where you can be both yourself and someone else for a little while. Fort expressed this during his lifetime. And I come to say that Fort may be gone, but we are still strong. So long as a single account beats, Facepunch will prosper. The past is the past. Now it is time that some have moved on with life. And we, as a community united, we, like Fort, must move on. I loved Fort. I love everyone here in a small way. And most of all, I love Facepunch. It is our heart and soul. - Goodbye Fort, you will be missed.
