A R.P.G. convoy escort seperated from the other vehicle finds its remains after an attack by bandits and...others.
Looks rather clean for being the remains of a fight in a post-apoc environment...
Looks rather clean for being the remains of a fight in a post-apoc environment...
Everything wasn't nuked. Everything is overgrown by grass, and sand didn't fill up every square inch of the earth. Some places are pretty clean. How some people still think everything was nuked or every inch square of civilized areas was hit by fighting i don't know. Thats not the case at least, mengentlens.
still looks way to clean for a battle/fight to have taken place there
How some people still think everything was nuked or every inch square of civilized areas was hit by fighting i don't know.
Maybe because it doesn't make sense and realistically, once one nuke goes, all of them do and fallout pretty much wipes out most areas outside of direct hits with nuclear winter and its aftermath? And after 23 years without any maintenance, roads would start getting overrun by vegetation. You would not have a clean mall parking lot type area. That pic was just lazy scenebuilding. Nothing to worry about lorewise.
still looks way to clean for a battle/fight to have taken place there
The blood didn't show up with the lamps I had on. The bandits executed the drivers and stole most of the supplies, then mutant cannibals ate one of their heads. I needed to make something to set up for what I've been working on, what can I say?

It's just that usually when governments fall and everybody stops maintaining roads, industrial zones, housing areas etc. shit/trash/whatever usually starts to pile up. Jesus Rick, you seem more hostile than you usually are...
He didn't sound very hostile to me I think you're just being sensitive. That being said how fucked up the area is relative to where you are geographically, unless the area was glassed in the war or is currently experiencing a nuclear winter there still will be flora and fauna, don't believe me? Look at Chernobyl, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. And you guys are forgetting this is fiction made up by two people, we wrote the guidelines as long as it goes along with them it's fine. And no we never said all the nukes exploded that makes even less sense, the reason why we made it so only some areas are super fucked up was so people had some creative freedom, and everything isn't the road esc brown and grey. How about everyone stops talking and starts making some actual poses. Some of you have yet to make a single pose for your faction.. [editline]6th March 2015[/editline] And if you want to complain about realism think about this, why is almost everyone's factions uniforms so clean in the post apocalypse..

Jesus Rick, you seem more hostile than you usually are...
I don't know why you'd see it as hostile just because I'm aggresive on the point. Neither do I see why you think that was directed towards you. If it was I would have said so. Reason why I'm getting into this, is not because he made a too clean scenebuild. Heck first I thought it was just shitty snow. But I've seen in a lot of the faction story's people write up where they talk as if the entire world has gone to shit. It's not fallout nor the last of us. There's countries still working, some are established one that functions normally with perhaps the exception of international trade and a little more hostility on the borders, then theres some that would look like a overgrown potatoe garden. So my entire point was not corrected to that one pose. And it was directed at no one. If I'm angry with someone I won't hide it so don't worry about that.
And if you want to complain about realism think about this, why is almost everyone's factions uniforms so clean in the post apocalypse..
Mine are not clean.
That's why he said "almost everyone's" I think.
Despite a majority of B.R.A territory located within a massive Alienation Zone, an interesting ecological change occurs as a product of the Zone. Crops, such as wheat (as demonstrated below), seem capable of growth despite the overall harshness of the Zone. B.R.A are proud fighters of the people and are equally hardworking. The rural parts of Japan that have not suffered from excess radiation have been ravaged by earthquakes resulting in massive plateau shifts. A samurai soldier is observed welcoming the rising sun in the land of harshness and tranquility. Due to the lack of resources, gas and bullets are scarce. The soldiers of the Japanese Empire are reserved to using primitive weaponry and traveling on horseback.

The highest calling of a soldier in the Japanese Empire is to become a marine-samurai. These elite soldiers are sent on the most dangerous missions, equipped with metallic armor to protect against radiation, oxygen canisters, food supplies, and their primary weapons, the samurai swords, these soldiers aim to tackle head-on any military threat even if it costs them their life. The marine-samurai's weapons contain a built-in Geiger counter which lights up the blade to signify increased radiation exposure. The color of the blade proportionally reflects the danger of radiation and ranges from mild blue to extremely dangerous red. Below is a marine-samurai on a mission to hunt down an unknown creature in the rural and irradiated swamp of Northern Japan. Yes [editline]8th March 2015[/editline] Most definietly right.
Am I doing it right?
Crazy awesome while still grounded in reality. You are doing it extra right.
Okay, I have a faction ready [thumb]http://uppix.com/f-Sino_Austrailian54fe141900187d35.png[/thumb] Name: Sino-Australian Hegemony (SAH) Location: Eastern Australian Seaboard, Papua New Guinea, and New Zealand Information: The Sino-Australian Hegemony is a totalitarian dictatorship that is descended from the pre-war mercenary group Spectre Battalion, and remnants of the Chinese armed forces. After World War III came to a close, Chinese Army/Navy units and civilian refugees decided to travel to Austrailia, where they believed that the continent was almost free of nuclear fallout. Spectre Battalion's New Zealand chapter thought such as well, and eventually both factions were surprised to have discovered a land with nothing but bombed out cities, violent mutants, and aimless civilians. By 2017, the two forces merged to form the Sino-Australian Hegemony, which would use force to keep the surviving Human population in line. Desperate to survive, and needing some semblance of leadership, the people had no choice but to join. It was either that, or die by radiation. The Hegemony's state police would instill fear into the Oceanic/Asian refugees who have forcibly become citizens within the SAH. Most of the SAH's population in 2038 consists of descendants of the Australian natives in the area. The SAH's primary goal is to unite "untainted" Humans under the authoritarian rule, as the Hegemony's leaders believe that in a world as harsh as Earth, total domination is the only way to keep law and order alive. The Hegemony is led by the Cabinet, a secretive enclave of political leaders who keep a close, invasive eye on the civilian population to ensure its "safety". Apparently my faction doesn't exist on the world map. :p
