I already have an engine powered chassis that can go over 60 mph, but the wheels are too big for this car so I'm going to cheat and make my wheels invisible and make small fake wheels that will not colide with everything and will be adv ballsocketed to the real wheels.
problem with adv bsing smaller wheels is that they won't look right because of the difference in diameter.

I'll make them weigh 1 nocolided with everything, axised on the wheels so that it would look like it has suspension and then adv ballsocket to the engine if you think that if I'll ballsocket to wheels it will fail.
Prob would have been a good idea to figure out where to put tires BEFORE I did the body.
Oh well, sod it. Think I'm at 60props so far. I had a few doubles by accident.

I like how you can put other than phx props in to your bodies and it turns out great. But roof is too flat. If you can bend it atleast 1degrees it still makes a diffrence.
It's been over one year since I've played Gmod. Found this thread and I felt like trying it once again.

I think the roof is way to high on that car. However I don't know anything about cars so i might be wrong.

I know I have a problem with the top because its too damn big if i make it smaller there is no place to sit :/ well I'll try my best to fix it

Thats why its good to post your shit in here so people could help you fix it. Does it look better now? Height ratios for roof portion and lower portion are now 1:1 I think.

Not really much use in that if you go through the roof though... Might I suggest setting the seat at an angle, that way you save a little space, and it looks more sporty.

Thats what I've did since I've lowered and shifted the roof a bit to the front. I'm trying to get the inside to look like mclaren f1. (1 seat in the middle)

I'm currently going steampunk at the moment making somthing similar like this.

My Gmod is crashing when I try to join servers. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to fix it?
I've tried reinstalling, cleaning the addons folder, renaming and replacing garrysmod folder and so on. This was the reason I quit playing the game over a year ago. I was hoping this shit would be fixed by now, but obviously not.
Just finished the first version of a spaceship stabilizer computer.

It uses a PID control loop, and it has proven to be very effective.
Basically the computer lets you turn on separate stabilizers for all three axes of spin. When the stabilizer of a certain axis is on, it will control thrusters so it gets the turn rate to 0. If you give it an input to spin in one of the two directions of that axis it will use the thrusters to reach a certain roll rate, set by the top left screen and buttons in the picture (that's just an example control surface, you can use whatever input method you want) and when it reaches the certain roll rate it will stabilize it to that rate.
This computer also includes functions for stopping the spaceship in one or all of the three directions of strafing (forward, sideways, and vertical). One very good way of using this is to lock the speed in the horizontal and vertical directions, meaning that the ship will only let you move back and forth. This means, if the ship itself is agile enough, you can do some good maneuvering with minimal effort, since the ship will attempt to stop all horizontal and vertical movement.
You are also able to turn of all the stabilizing controls, meaning that you can directly control the thrusters on the ship if you want to.
What I need to do next is integrate all this into one expression to reduce lag that the wiremod props causes.
