We need an entire section for contraptions, not just a subforum...
This would also inspire builders who may never have seen our small but great Contraptions forum (R.I.P).

Garry has single handedly destroyed a part of his forums. I hope he's happy, because I'm through with it all. Anyone recommend an alternative forum that actually cares about the users?

Well, its sad, but the portion of this forum that builds/plays gmod is extremely small compared with those who don't.
And there is also the thing about being unable to log in through firefox, and being logged off after an hour or so being inactive in other browsers.
I don't know if that's just me...

Well there are 2 options:
1. The magical forums of wiremod.
2. Create your own forum.

Well, it started as a matte red square, then it evolved into a static-lighted matte red square. I then had the bright idea to grab a PHX cube, color it red, and video it in the color room on Construct. I love my red cube.
Well howdy fucking dooooo.. Got the 15 minute limit lifted on my second YT account so all my long gmod videos, many over an hour long, are going up there over the next week. Alot from the "golden" age of gmod aka 2008. They are mostly videos I encoded for the limitless google-video or just the masses of clips in-between actual contraptions over a period of a week stitched together.

Why golden age? Now people way improved everything. Now you can build a realistic car with everything, engine, gearbox and all dat shit.
It was the golden age because things weren't done already and things weren't easy. Everyone doing things first worked their ass off to get them going.
Holograms, e2 and the ep2 engine update murdered those good times. Going forward may not be the answer. We may have to go back.

I must have missed something (probably because I had a 2 year break from gmod), but what did the ep2 engine update change?
Obviously the right thing in this situation would be to remove the only forum still about garrys mod in the garrys mod section on the forum originally made for garrys mod.
